2. Safety Instructions

Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before using this appliance to prevent injury or damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, level surface.
  • Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain at least 20 cm (8 inches) clearance from walls and furniture.
  • Do not operate the unit near water or in excessively wet environments (e.g., standing water).
  • Always unplug the dehumidifier before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
  • Do not insert objects into the air vents.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Use only with a power supply that matches the specifications (220V).

3. Setup

  1. Unpacking

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future storage or transport.

  2. Placement

Place the dehumidifier in an upright position on a firm, level surface in the area where dehumidification is desired. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (refer to Figure 2 for placement examples). Avoid placing it directly against walls, curtains, or furniture that could obstruct air intake or exhaust.

  3. Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded 220V electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is suitable for the unit's power requirements (365W).

  4. Water Tank

Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted into the unit. The dehumidifier will not operate if the tank is full or improperly seated.

  5. Continuous Drainage (Optional)

For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, connect a suitable drain hose (not included) to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a floor drain or larger container (refer to Figure 2 for drainage port location).

4. Operating Instructions

The control panel (visible in Figure 2) allows you to manage the dehumidifier's functions.

  1. Power On/Off

Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off.

  2. Mode Selection

Press the Mode button to cycle through available operating modes:

    • Auto Mode: The unit automatically adjusts dehumidification based on the ambient humidity.
    • Continuous Dehumidification: The unit operates continuously regardless of humidity levels.
    • Laundry Drying Mode: Optimized settings for drying clothes indoors.
  3. Humidity Setting

Use the Humidity Set buttons (often '+' and '-') to set your desired humidity level. The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle on/off to maintain it.

  4. Timer Function

Press the Timer button to set an auto-on or auto-off time. Follow the display prompts to adjust the desired duration.

  5. Water Tank Full Indicator

When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating, and an indicator light will illuminate (refer to Figure 2 for visual). Empty the tank and reinsert it properly to resume operation.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

  1. Emptying the Water Tank

When the 'Tank Full' indicator lights up, carefully remove the water tank from the unit. Dispose of the collected water and slide the tank back into its position until it clicks securely.

  2. Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality. Locate the filter (usually at the back or side of the unit), remove it, and clean it with a vacuum cleaner or wash it with warm, soapy water. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling.

  3. Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents, as these can damage the surface.

  4. Storage

If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the filter is clean and dry. Cover the unit to protect it from dust and store it in an upright position in a cool, dry place.
