6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Error Codes
| Status Code | State Meaning |
|---|---|
| E06 | Battery undervoltage |
| E07 | Motor failure |
| E08 | Throttle malfunctioning |
| E09 | Controller failure |
| E10 | Data receive failure |
| E11 | Data send failure |
6.2 Specific Troubleshooting for E10 Error
If the display shows E10 after connecting, there are two primary possibilities:
- Communication Protocol Incompatibility: The communication protocol between the display (UART2) and your e-bike's controller may not be compatible. Verify that both components use the UART2 protocol.
- Vehicle Component Issues: The overall condition of the vehicle's electrical system might be poor. This could involve issues with the boost controller, knob, or motor, which can lead to communication failure with the display. Inspect these components for any damage or malfunction.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the display screen and body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water Resistance: The display has an IP67 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and temporary immersion in water. However, avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the display in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
- Cable Inspection: Periodically check all cables and connectors for wear, damage, or loose connections.
8. User Tips
- Verify Compatibility: Always double-check that your e-bike's controller uses the UART2 communication protocol before purchasing or installing the H6C-2 display to ensure proper function.
- Correct Parameter Settings: Accurately set parameters like wheel diameter (P06) and magnetic steel number (P07) for precise speed and mileage readings.
- Emergency Charging: Utilize the built-in USB port for convenient emergency charging of your mobile devices during rides.
