1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the YOOSEE 2MP IP Camera. This smart outdoor camera is designed to provide reliable security monitoring with high-resolution imaging, pan & tilt capabilities, two-way audio, and motion detection. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your camera to ensure optimal performance.

2. Package Contents

Please check the package contents upon receipt. The standard package typically includes:

• YOOSEE 2MP IP Camera
• Power Adapter (EU/AU/UK/US plug type, depending on selection)
• Mounting Screws and Wall Plugs
• User Manual (this document)

Note: If you ordered a variant with an SD card, it will be pre-installed or included separately.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Physical Installation

The YOOSEE IP Camera is designed for both wall-mounted and hoisted installations, suitable for various outdoor environments such as courtyards, farms, fish ponds, and orchards. Its IP66 waterproof rating ensures durability against rain, snow, and hot weather.

1. Choose a suitable location for installation, ensuring good Wi-Fi signal coverage and a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.

2. Use the provided mounting screws and wall plugs to securely attach the camera bracket to the desired surface.

3. Attach the camera to the bracket, ensuring it is firmly in place.

4. Connect the camera to the DC 12V power supply.

4.2 App Installation and Connection (YOOSEE App)

To access and control your camera, you need to install the YOOSEE app on your smartphone.

1. Download and Open the App: Search for "YOOSEE" in your smartphone's app store (Android or iOS) and install it. Open the YOOSEE app.

2. Add New Device: On the app's main screen, click the "+" icon or select "Add new device".

3. Choose Connection Mode: Select "Smartlink" for easy Wi-Fi setup. For outdoor models or if Smartlink fails, you may choose "Wired connection" or "AP connection" as alternatives.

4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password. Ensure your camera is within range of your Wi-Fi router. The camera is not compatible with 5G Wi-Fi networks.

5. Device Ready: The app will indicate when the device is ready. A prompt tone will be sent once connected.

6. Waiting to Connect: Keep your phone approximately 30 cm (1 foot) away from the camera during the connection process to ensure successful pairing.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Remote Viewing

Once connected, you can achieve real-time remote viewing of your camera feed from anywhere using the YOOSEE app on your smartphone. Simply open the app and select your camera from the device list.

5.2 Pan & Tilt Monitoring

The camera offers smooth pan and tilt functionality, allowing you to monitor every corner of your property. Use the controls within the YOOSEE app to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle:

• Pan: Rotate horizontally from 0° to 360°.
• Tilt: Adjust vertically from 0° to 90°.

5.3 Two-Way Audio

The built-in microphone and speaker enable clear two-way audio communication. You can listen to what's happening around the camera and speak through the camera using the YOOSEE app, facilitating real-time online interaction.

5.4 Motion Detection and Alarm

The camera features real-time motion detection with smart tracking. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically send alarm notifications to your smartphone via the YOOSEE app. This helps you stay informed about any suspicious activity.

5.5 Night Vision

The camera supports day and night monitoring. It is equipped with dual LEDs (Infrared + Warm light), allowing you to easily switch between infrared mode for discreet black-and-white night vision or starlight mode for enhanced color night vision in low-light conditions.

5.6 Storage Options

The camera supports local storage via a TF (Micro SD) card up to 128GB. Additionally, cloud storage options are available through the YOOSEE app for secure off-site backup of your recordings.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your YOOSEE IP Camera, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges that may affect image quality. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Power Supply: Ensure the camera is connected to a stable DC 12V power source. Avoid using incompatible power adapters.
• Firmware Updates: Check the YOOSEE app periodically for firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures you have the latest features and security enhancements.
• Environmental Protection: While the camera is IP66 waterproof, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to extreme conditions beyond its specified operating temperature range (-10°C to 60°C).
• Cable Management: Ensure all cables are securely connected and protected from physical damage or tampering.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your YOOSEE IP Camera, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi:
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as the camera does not support 5GHz networks.
  • Verify that the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
  • Move the camera closer to your Wi-Fi router to improve signal strength.
  • Restart both your camera and your Wi-Fi router.
• No Image/Video Feed:
  • Check if the camera is properly powered on and the power adapter is securely connected.
  • Ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection.
  • Restart the YOOSEE app.
• Motion Detection Not Working:
  • Verify that motion detection is enabled in the YOOSEE app settings for your camera.
  • Adjust the motion detection sensitivity settings if necessary.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's view.
• Two-Way Audio Issues:
  • Check the volume settings on your smartphone and within the YOOSEE app.
  • Ensure there are no physical obstructions covering the camera's microphone or speaker.
  • Test the audio in a quiet environment to rule out background noise interference.
• SD Card Not Recording:
  • Ensure the SD card is correctly inserted and formatted within the YOOSEE app.
  • Check if the SD card has sufficient free space.
  • Verify that recording settings (e.g., continuous recording, motion-triggered recording) are configured correctly in the app.

8. User Tips

• Optimal Placement: For best motion detection and coverage, consider placing the camera at a height of 2.5-3 meters (8-10 feet) and angled slightly downwards.
• Wi-Fi Signal Strength: A strong Wi-Fi signal is crucial for stable performance. If your camera is far from your router, consider using a Wi-Fi extender.
• Regular Checks: Periodically check your camera's live feed and recorded footage to ensure it's functioning as expected.
• Privacy Zones: Utilize the privacy zone feature in the app to block out areas you do not wish to record, if available.
