5.1 Before You Begin
- Clear a spacious area for assembly.
- Lay out all parts and hardware. Verify against the package contents list.
- You will need a Phillips head screwdriver and possibly a hammer (not included).
5.2 Assembly Steps
- Assemble the Main Frame: Connect the side panels to the bottom and top panels using the provided hardware (e.g., cam locks and dowels). Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- Attach the Legs: Securely fasten the four cabinet legs to the bottom panel of the main frame.
- Install Flip Drawer Mechanisms: Attach the flip drawer mechanisms to the interior of the cabinet as per the diagrams. Ensure they are oriented correctly for smooth operation.

6.3 Top Surface Usage
The spacious top surface can be used to display decorative items such as vases, plants, lamps, or to hold frequently used items for easy access.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the cabinet surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the finish.
- Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining or damage to the wood.
- Hardware: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Ventilation: The cabinet features ventilation holes to help prevent odor buildup. Ensure these are not blocked.
- Sunlight: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading or discoloration.
8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Drawers Not Closing Smoothly
- Check for obstructions: Ensure no shoes or items are blocking the drawer mechanism.
- Verify assembly: Recheck that all drawer slides and mechanisms are installed correctly and securely.
- Adjust contents: Ensure shoes are placed properly and not overfilling the compartments.
8.2 Cabinet Instability
- Ensure the anti-tipping kit is properly installed and secured to a wall stud.
- Check that all assembly hardware is tightened.
- Verify the cabinet is on a level surface. Adjust the feet if necessary (if applicable).
8.3 Odor Buildup
- Ensure the ventilation holes are clear and unobstructed.
- Regularly clean the interior of the cabinet.
- Consider using shoe deodorizers or moisture absorbers if needed.
9. User Tips
- For larger shoes (e.g., boots or high heels), consider removing one of the internal panels in the flip drawers to create more vertical space.
- Utilize the top surface for decorative items or a small tray to catch keys and mail, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Periodically rotate shoes to allow for air circulation and prevent odors.
