This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new keyboard.

4. Setup

Initial Connection:

  1. Wired Mode: Connect the keyboard to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. The keyboard will automatically power on and be ready for use.
  2. Wireless Modes: For 2.4GHz or Bluetooth connections, ensure the keyboard is charged. Use the switch on the back of the keyboard to select your desired mode.

Operating System Switch:

The keyboard features a switch to toggle between Mac and Windows operating system modes, located on the back of the keyboard. Ensure it is set to the correct OS for optimal functionality.

5. Connection Modes

The Womier WK75 supports three connection methods: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-C wired.

5.1. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

  1. Locate the USB dongle, typically stored in a compartment on the keyboard.
  2. Plug the USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Switch the keyboard to 2.4G mode using the switch on the back of the keyboard. Alternatively, press FN + R to activate 2.4G mode.
  4. The keyboard should connect automatically.

5.2. Bluetooth Connection

  1. Switch the keyboard to Bluetooth mode using the switch on the back of the keyboard. Alternatively, press FN + Q, FN + W, or FN + E to select one of three Bluetooth channels.
  2. On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, phone, Switch, Xbox, PlayStation), open Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  3. Select 'Womier WK75' from the list of available devices to pair.
  4. The keyboard can store up to three Bluetooth connections, allowing you to quickly switch between paired devices using FN + Q/W/E.

5.3. USB-C Wired Connection

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on your computer.
  3. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.

6. Key Functions and Controls

6.1. Multimedia Knob

  • Rotate Counter-clockwise: Volume Down
  • Press for 3 Seconds: Mute/Unmute

6.2. RGB Backlight Controls (FN Combinations)

  • FN + Left Arrow / Right Arrow: Adjust backlight speed.
  • FN + Up Arrow / Down Arrow: Adjust backlight brightness.
  • FN + \|: Switch backlight mode.
  • FN + DEL: Switch backlight color.
  • FN + Backspace: Turn backlight on/off.
  • FN + TAB: Turn the backlight to white.

6.3. Other FN Functions

  • FN + ESC (Hold for 3 seconds): Reset the keyboard to factory settings.
  • FN + WIN: Lock/Unlock the Windows key.

8. Maintenance

Cleaning:

  • Regularly clean your keyboard with a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris.
  • For keycaps, you can use a damp cloth with mild soap and water. Ensure keycaps are completely dry before reattaching.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the keyboard's finish or keycap legends.

  1. Power off the keyboard or disconnect it from your device.
  2. Use the provided keycap puller to gently remove the desired keycap.
  3. Use a switch puller (not always included, but recommended) to carefully extract the switch from its socket.
  4. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB and press down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the pins are straight to avoid bending.
  5. Reattach the keycap.

9. Troubleshooting

Keyboard Not Responding:

  • Wired Mode: Check the USB-C cable connection. Try a different USB port or cable.
  • 2.4GHz Wireless: Ensure the USB dongle is securely plugged in and the keyboard is switched to 2.4G mode. Try re-pairing by pressing FN + R.
  • Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keyboard is in Bluetooth mode (FN + Q/W/E). Try re-pairing the device.
  • Battery: Ensure the keyboard has sufficient charge. Connect it via USB-C to charge.
  • Reset: Perform a factory reset by holding FN + ESC for 3 seconds.

Backlight Issues:

  • Ensure the backlight is not turned off (FN + Backspace).
  • Adjust brightness using FN + Up Arrow / Down Arrow.
  • If specific keys are not lighting up, check if the switch is properly seated or if the LED on the switch is faulty.

Keys Not Registering:

  • If a specific key is not working, try hot-swapping the switch with one of the replacement switches provided.
  • Ensure the keycap is properly seated on the switch stem.

10. User Tips

  • Battery Management: To maximize battery life, utilize the auto-sleep mode and turn off RGB lighting when not needed. The 5000mAh battery can last up to 7 days with backlights on, and up to 15 days with backlights off.
  • Customization Potential: Experiment with different switch types and keycap sets to find your ideal typing feel and aesthetic. The hot-swappable design makes this easy.
  • Ergonomics: Use the 2-stage adjustable kickstands to find a comfortable typing angle that reduces wrist strain.
  • Driver Software: Take advantage of the driver software for advanced customization of RGB effects, key remapping, and macro creation to tailor the keyboard to your specific workflow or gaming style.
