Setup and Assembly

Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the machine from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packing materials, including any protective films or tapes.
  3. Ensure all accessories listed in the packing list are present.

Power Connection

  • Connect the power cord to the machine and then to a suitable electrical outlet.
  • Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position before connecting.

Threading the Machine

Follow the numbered guides on the machine for proper upper thread tension and needle threading. The automatic thread clipping function will assist in finishing stitches.

Inserting the Bobbin

The SE9155 features an easy top-loading bobbin system. Wind the bobbin using the spool winder with automatic clutch, then insert it into the drum from the top as indicated by the machine's instructions.

Operating Instructions

Basic Sewing

  1. Turn on the machine using the power switch.
  2. Select your desired stitch pattern using the 7-inch color LCD touch screen or the One-Touch selection system.
  3. Adjust stitch length, width, and density as needed via the LCD screen.
  4. Place your fabric under the presser foot.
  5. Lower the presser foot.
  6. Use the Start & Stop button to begin sewing without the foot pedal, or connect a foot pedal if preferred.
  7. Guide the fabric gently.
  8. Press the automatic thread clipping button to cut threads at the end of a seam.

Embroidery Functions

  1. Attach the embroidery unit and hoop (Tambork 170x100mm) to the machine.
  2. Select an embroidery pattern from the 150 available options on the LCD touch screen.
  3. The screen allows adjustment of needle position and special effects like mirror imaging or elongation of the stitch.
  4. Load your fabric into the embroidery hoop.
  5. Start the embroidery process. The machine will guide you through thread changes if necessary.
  6. The machine supports VP3 pattern file format.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning

  • Always turn off and unplug the machine before cleaning.
  • Regularly clean lint and dust from the bobbin area and feed dogs using a small brush.
  • Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.

Lubrication

Needle Replacement
