5. Setup and Installation
5.1. Memory Card Installation
- Insert the memory card into the TF Card slot (labeled as 5 in the product diagram).
- Warm Tips: A Class 10 or above Micro SD card is highly recommended. Please format the SD card before inserting it into the dash cam for the first time. Do not pull out or insert the memory card when the driving recorder is turned on to avoid damage.
5.2. Camera Mounting
- Attach the dash cam to a suitable position on the front windshield, ensuring it does not obstruct your view.
- Adjust the viewing angle accordingly to capture the desired field of view.

5.3. Power Connection
- Connect the USB power cable into the Type-C USB power port of the Dash Cam.
- Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter.
5.4. Rear Camera Installation (Optional)
If you have purchased the optional rear camera:
- Connect the rear camera with the extension cable into the Dash Cam's AV-IN port (labeled as 6 in the product diagram).
- Install the rear camera on the rear windshield.

5.5. GPS Module Connection (Optional)
If you have purchased the optional GPS module:
- First, connect the Type-C connector of the GPS module to the corresponding Type-C port on top of the Carplay.
- Connect the Type-C connector of the Car Charger to the connector of the GPS module.
- Secondly, plug the Car Charger into the cigarette lighter and you can use it.

5.6. Hardwired Kit Installation (Optional)
For 24-hour parking monitoring, a hardwired kit is required. This involves connecting to your car's fuse box:
- Identify a fuse slot that provides constant power (the red wire will connect here).
- Identify a fuse slot that provides power only when the key is in the ACC position (the yellow wire will connect here).
- Connect the black wire to a ground screw or bolt.

6. App Setup and Wi-Fi Connection
6.1. App Installation
The QOZ Dash Cam can be controlled via the "Viidure" app, available for both Apple and Android mobile phones.
- Scan the QR code below to download the "Viidure" app.
- Note: Please agree to the app's system permissions. If you accidentally deny permissions, clear the app data in your phone settings to restore the initial state.

6.2. Wi-Fi Connection Steps
- Step 1: Ensure your mobile phone's Wi-Fi is on and the dash cam's Wi-Fi is active. Open the Viidure app.
- Step 2: Connect the dash cam power supply. If prompted, click OK to allow location permissions.
- Step 3: In the app, tap "Connect Wi-Fi." Your phone will navigate to the Wi-Fi settings. Select the dash cam's Wi-Fi network (e.g., "Dashcam-XXXXXX") and enter the password (default: 12345678). Then click "CONNECT."
- Step 4: Upon successful connection, you will enter the dash cam interface in the app. If you cannot connect within 5 minutes after starting the dash cam, or if the connection disconnects, please click the button on the dash cam to restart its Wi-Fi.
6.3. App Interface Introduction
The Viidure app provides various functions for managing your dash cam:
- Memory Capacity: Displays current storage usage.
- Take a Picture: Capture still images.
- View Photos and Videos: Access recorded media.

7. Operating Instructions
7.1. Basic Operations
- Power On/Off: Long press the button.
- Take Photo: Short press the button for 3 seconds.

Viewing GPS Videos on Mobile App:
- Connect your phone to the dash cam's Wi-Fi.
- Enter the "Viidure" app.
- Go to the app's photo album.
- Select a video and download it to your phone's local photo album.
- Exit video recording and go to "Local Files" in the app. Downloaded videos can be viewed with Wi-Fi turned off.
Tips on GPS Usage:
- Factors affecting GPS signals include other signal interference in the car, severe weather (rainstorm or snowstorm), and weak signals in tunnels or remote mountainous areas.
- GPS video must be viewed with a dedicated player (GXPlayer).
- To view GPS videos in the mobile app, you must first download these videos to local files.
