5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

1. Align the battery with the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
2. Slide the battery into place until it clicks securely.

5.2 Antenna Attachment

1. Screw the antenna clockwise into the connector on the top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

5.3 Charging

The BT8200 supports convenient Type-C charging.

1. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the radio's charging port.

2. Open the app and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to connect to your BT8200 radio.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

To power on or off the radio, rotate the power/volume knob clockwise or counter-clockwise until you hear a click.

• To Activate Super Mode: Press and hold the PTT key and the "8" key simultaneously while powering on the radio.

Frequency discrepancy / limited range:
