6. Installation Guide

6.1. Connecting the Cable Adapter to the Android Head Unit

  1. Locate the 16-pin power plug on the provided wiring harness.
  2. Plug the 16-pin power plug into the corresponding 16-pin power socket on your Android head unit.
  3. Locate the 8-pin UART plug on the wiring harness.
  4. Plug the 8-pin UART plug into the 8-pin UART socket on your Android head unit.

6.2. Connecting the CAN-Bus System

Connect the CAN-Bus components as follows, depending on your vehicle's configuration:

  1. CAN-Bus Box Connection: Find the 16-pin CAN plug on the wiring harness and plug it into the 16-pin socket of the CAN-Bus Box.
  2. Vehicle Harness Connection (36-pin): If your car uses a 36-pin socket, locate the corresponding 2-pin CAN plug and socket on the wiring harness and connect them to the car's cable harness.
  3. Vehicle Harness Connection (40-pin): If your car uses a 40-pin socket, locate the corresponding 2-pin CAN plug and socket on the wiring harness and connect them to the car's cable harness.
  4. Direct Gateway Connection (if no CAN-Bus in 36/40-pin): If neither the 36-pin nor 40-pin socket of your car's cable harness contains a CAN-Bus connection, use the provided 2-pin CAN-Bus cable to connect directly to your car's gateway.
