4. Setup and Connection
- Connect to Battery: Connect the red charging clamp to the battery's positive terminal (+) and the black charging clamp to the negative terminal (-).
- Connect to Power Outlet: Insert the charger's power plug into a 230V AC power outlet.
- Turn On: Flip the power switch located on the rear of the charger to the 'ON' position. The screen will flash, indicating it is in standby state. This is normal operation and not a malfunction.

5. Operating Instructions
The charger will automatically detect the battery voltage and begin charging under specific conditions. You can also manually select charging parameters.
5.1. Controls Overview

- Start/Stop Button: Initiates or pauses the charging process.
- Current Selection Button: Allows selection of the charging current (e.g., 5A, 10A, 20A, 25A, 30A, 40A depending on model). If an incorrect current is selected, press the start button twice, or turn off the power and re-select.
- Battery Selection Button: Used to choose the battery type (e.g., GEL, AGM). This is typically for AGM/GEL types.
- Repair Mode Button: Activates the battery repair function.
5.2. Charging Process for 12V/24V Lead-Acid Batteries
After connecting the charger to the battery, it will automatically detect the battery voltage. Charging will automatically start when the battery voltage drops below 12.8V (for 12V batteries) or 25.6V (for 24V batteries) for 60 consecutive seconds.
- Stage 1: Low Current Charging. If the battery voltage is below 10.5V (12V battery) or 21V (24V battery), the charger will apply a low current until the voltage rises above these thresholds.
- Stage 2: Pre-charging. The charger applies a 2.5A current for 15 minutes.
- Stage 3: Constant Current Charging. The charger charges the battery with a set high current until it reaches approximately 80% capacity.
- Stage 4: Constant Voltage Charging. The charger continues charging at its maximum voltage until the battery is fully charged.
- Stage 5: Float Charging. Once fully charged, the charger enters trickle float charging to enhance charging depth.
- Stage 6: Hanging Charging. The charger monitors the battery voltage. If it drops below 12.8V (12V battery) or 25.6V (24V battery), charging will restart automatically.
5.3. Charging Process for 12V LiFePO4 Batteries
After connecting the charger to the battery, it will automatically detect the battery voltage. Charging will automatically start when the battery voltage drops below 13.2V for 60 consecutive seconds.
- Stage 1: Low Current Charging. If the battery voltage is below 11.1V, the charger will apply a low current until the voltage rises above 11.1V.
- Stage 2: Pre-charging. The charger applies a 2.5A current for 15 minutes.
- Stage 3: Constant Current Charging. The charger charges the battery with a set high current until it reaches approximately 80% capacity.
- Stage 4: Stage-by-Stage Current Reduction Charging. The charging current is gradually reduced for deep charging.
- Stage 5: Constant Voltage Charging. The charger continues charging at its maximum voltage until the battery is fully charged.
- Stage 6: Hanging Charging. The charger monitors the battery voltage. If it drops below 13.2V, charging will restart automatically.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Pulse Repair Function
The charger features a pulse repair function designed to restore the capacity of certain batteries. This function is particularly effective for:
- Sulfurized batteries
- Undervoltage batteries
- Long-term idle batteries
To activate, press and hold the 'Repair Mode' button for 5 seconds. After the 'drivemark' is displayed, it enters repair mode. The charger will then start a constant current charging process. Note that the charger can only repair 12V batteries, not 24V batteries.

6.2. General Care
- Keep the charger clean and dry.
- Store in a cool, well-ventilated area when not in use.
- Regularly check cables and clamps for damage.
7. Troubleshooting
- Screen Flashing in Standby: This is a normal standby state and not a malfunction.
- Screen Remains On After Disconnecting Power: When you turn off the power switch, the charger's internal capacitor is still charged. The screen will remain on until the capacitor is fully discharged. This is normal operation.
- Charger Not Starting: Ensure all connections are secure (battery clamps to terminals, power plug to outlet). Verify the battery voltage is below the automatic start threshold (12.8V for 12V lead-acid, 25.6V for 24V lead-acid, 13.2V for 12V LiFePO4).
- Incorrect Current/Battery Type Selection: If you select the wrong current or battery type, turn off the power switch and restart the process, or press the start button twice to re-select.

9. User Tips
- For optimal performance and battery longevity, ensure you select the correct battery type and charging current for your specific battery.
- The charger includes a 'Battery Analysis' stage in its 8-stage process, which can provide insights into your battery's condition.
- If the charger screen remains on after disconnecting power, it is due to the internal capacitor discharging. This is normal and not a fault.
- Always ensure good ventilation during charging, especially for lead-acid batteries, to prevent gas accumulation.
