The monitor is powered via a Type-C interface. The included cigarette lighter power cord is used to supply power directly from your car's cigarette lighter socket.

Important Note:

The product comes with a standard cigarette charger. If you use a non-original charger, ensure it is a compliant, high-quality cigarette charger. Using an incompatible charger may damage the device or cause other issues due to insufficient voltage or heat. Additionally, the FM Transmitter function may not work normally with non-original power cords.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Interface Overview

The monitor's interface provides quick access to various functions. Here's a breakdown of the main buttons:

  3. On the monitor's interface, select the [Apple CarPlay] option and click [BT Manage].
  4. Find the Bluetooth signal name of the car stereo screen in your iPhone's Bluetooth list and click to connect.
  5. Wait a few seconds for the connection to succeed.

Note: The Apple CarPlay option only supports iPhones. To disconnect, turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone first, then Wi-Fi. If you only turn off Wi-Fi, the device may attempt to reconnect.

3.3 Wireless Android Auto Connection

To connect your Android phone to Android Auto:

  1. On the monitor, click the [Android Auto] button.
  2. On your Android phone, turn on both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
  3. On the monitor's interface, select the [Android Auto] option and click [BT Manage].
  4. Find the Bluetooth signal name of the car stereo screen in your Android phone's Bluetooth list and click to connect.
  5. Wait a few seconds for the connection to succeed.

Note: The Android Auto option only supports Android phones. To disconnect, turn off both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your phone. If you replace your mobile phone, the connection data of the previous phone will be erased.

3.4 AirPlay (iPhone Mirroring)

AirPlay allows you to transmit video, audio, and pictures from your iPhone to the car monitor. The transmission uses Wi-Fi.

  1. Ensure your iPhone is connected to the monitor's Wi-Fi.
  2. On your iPhone, open the Control Center and select Screen Mirroring.
  3. Choose SmartScreen from the available devices.

Note: AirPlay is only supported for iPhones.

3.5 MirrorCast (Android Mirroring)

MirrorCast enables mirror projection from your Android mobile phone to the car monitor.

  1. On your Android phone, go to System Settings.
  2. Select "More Connections".
  3. Tap on the phone screen labeled F80091174704 (or similar device name).
  4. Wait for MirrorCast to scan and then click to connect.
  5. Your connection should now be complete.

Note: MirrorCast is only supported for Android phones.

3.6 Bluetooth Music

To play music via Bluetooth:

  1. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
  2. On the monitor, select the [Bluetooth Music] option.
  3. Click the [BT Manage] option on the interface to connect Bluetooth to your mobile phone.
  4. Once connected, you can start playing music from your phone.

Use the on-screen buttons for navigation: Previous song, Play/Pause, and Next song. A Lyrics button is also available to display lyrics, though some music player apps may not support this feature.

3.7 Media Player

The Media Player allows you to play movies, music, and videos stored on a TF card.

  1. Click the [Media Player] button on the main interface.
  2. Select the desired media type (Video or Music) and choose files from your TF card.
  3. Use the on-screen controls for playback (Play/Pause, Next paragraph).
  4. To return to the main interface, click the Return button in the top right corner.

3.8 FM Transmitter

The FM Transmitter function allows the monitor to send its audio output to your car's radio, enabling playback through your car's speakers.

  3. Select a frequency band to be emitted (e.g., FM 106.0 MHz).
  4. Tune your car's radio to the same frequency band.
  5. Once connected, all audio from the monitor will be sent to your car's speakers.

Important Note: When the FM Transmitter is active, the monitor itself will no longer emit sound. You must turn off the FM Transmitter or match the car's radio frequency to hear audio. Using a non-original power cord may cause the FM Transmitter signal to deteriorate or prevent the function from working correctly. Adjust the volume using your car's volume control buttons.

5. Troubleshooting

FM transmitter failed to connect
  1. Please use the original power cable.
  2. Please increase the volume of the car audio.
The system is stuck or Player overheating
  1. Avoid direct sunlight or exposure to sunlight during use. The normal operating temperature of the player is -4°F ~ 149°F.
  2. After disconnecting the power supply, the temperature of the player will be lower than 149°F and work normally.
CarPlay connection failed
  1. The first connection takes a little longer.
  2. Only iPhone supports CarPlay.
  3. Check that the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions of the mobile phone are normal.
  4. Enter Settings > General > CarPlay vehicle, delete all records and reconnect.
  5. Restart the iPhone and reconnect it.
Android Auto connection failed
  1. Only Android phones are supported.
  2. Update Auto and related applications on mobile phones to the latest version.
  3. Do not enable VPN on the mobile phone.
  4. Check that the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions of the mobile phone are normal.
  5. Restart the Android phone and connect it again.
The Bluetooth music is not working
  1. Please set the player mode to Bluetooth music. Other modes do not support Bluetooth music.
