2. Safety Information

4. Product Overview

The HOMCOM Portable Air Conditioner features an intuitive LED display and comes with a remote control for convenient operation.

5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Placement

Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface. Ensure it is positioned close to a power socket and a window for exhaust ventilation.

5.2 Window Kit Installation

The included window kit is designed for sliding door windows. Push-out windows are not applicable for this kit.

  1. Assemble the window slider kit to fit your window opening.
  2. Secure the window kit in the open window.
  3. Attach the exhaust hose adapter to the window kit.

5.3 Exhaust Hose Connection

The included exhaust hose must be connected for the air conditioner to work efficiently and expel hot air outdoors.

  1. Connect one end of the exhaust hose to the air outlet on the back of the unit.
  2. Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the adapter in the window kit.
  3. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent air leakage.

6. Operating Instructions

Your HOMCOM Portable Air Conditioner can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the remote control.

6.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the 'Power' button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit ON or OFF.

6.2 Mode Selection

Press the 'Mode' button to cycle through the available modes:

  • Cool: Provides cooling to the room. Adjust temperature using the '+' and '-' buttons.
  • Dehumidify: Removes moisture from the air (21.8L/Day capacity).
  • Ventilate: Circulates air without cooling. Fan speed can be adjusted.
  • Sleep: Gradually increases the set temperature by 1°C every hour for comfortable sleep.

6.3 Temperature and Fan Speed Adjustment

  • In 'Cool' mode, use the '+' and '-' buttons to set your desired temperature.
  • In 'Ventilate' mode, use the 'Fan Speed' button to select between low, medium, or high fan speeds.

6.4 Timer Function

The 24-hour timer allows you to set the unit to turn ON or OFF automatically.

  • Press the 'Timer' button and use '+' and '-' to set the desired operating duration or delay.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.

7.1 Filter Cleaning

The removable filter helps keep the circulating air fresh and clean. Clean the filter regularly.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Locate and remove the air filter (refer to diagram).
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.

7.2 Water Drainage

The unit features an auto cut-off function when the internal water tank is full. You will need to drain the accumulated water.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Locate the drain hole at the bottom of the unit.
  3. Place a suitable container under the drain hole.
  4. Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
  5. Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.

7.3 Storage

When storing the unit for an extended period:

  • Ensure the water tank is completely drained.
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Store the unit in a dry, cool place, covered to protect it from dust.
