5.2 Filling the Dispenser

  1. Gently twist the top section of the dispenser counter-clockwise to separate it from the liquid container.
  2. Pour your desired liquid (foaming hand soap, shampoo, dish soap, etc.) into the container. Ensure not to overfill beyond the maximum fill line.
  3. For foam versions, if using concentrated liquid soap, dilute it with water. A common ratio is 1 part soap to 3-8 parts water, depending on the soap's concentration. Mix gently.
  4. Align the top section with the container and twist clockwise until securely fastened.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

The P7 dispenser has an IPX5 waterproof body, making it easy to clean. Simply wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the entire unit in water. The liquid container is designed to be at the bottom to prevent soap or water from corroding the internal circuit board.

7.2 Refilling

When the liquid level is low (visible through the transparent window), refill the dispenser as described in Section 5.2. It is recommended to clean the container before refilling with a different type of liquid.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Dispenser not turning on: Ensure the device is fully charged. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
  • No liquid dispensed:
    • Check if the dispenser is powered on.
    • Ensure there is enough liquid in the container.
    • Verify that your hand is within the sensing range (0-70mm) and the sensor is not obstructed.
    • Clean the nozzle if it appears clogged.
  • Weak foam (foam version):
    • The liquid soap might be too concentrated. Try diluting it further with water (e.g., 1:5 or 1:8 ratio).
    • Ensure the liquid is suitable for foaming dispensers.
  • Liquid leaks from the dispenser:
    • Ensure the top section is securely twisted onto the liquid container.
    • Do not overfill the liquid container.

9. User Tips

  • Optimal Foam: For the foam version, experiment with different soap-to-water ratios (e.g., 1:3 to 1:8) to find the perfect foam consistency for your preferred liquid soap.
  • Sensor Awareness: Keep the sensor area clear of obstructions to ensure consistent and reliable dispensing. Avoid placing the dispenser in direct sunlight or near strong light sources that might interfere with the infrared sensor.
  • Regular Cleaning: Although waterproof, a quick wipe-down of the exterior and nozzle regularly will prevent soap residue buildup and maintain hygiene.
  • Battery Management: Charge the dispenser when the battery level drops to 25% to ensure uninterrupted use.
