2.2 Initial Device Setup

1. Charge the Device: Connect the MUCAR 892BT scanner to the 3-in-1 charger using the TYPE-C charging cable. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use.

For FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) vehicles from 2017 and later, which are protected by an SGW (Secure Gateway) security module, the MUCAR 892BT supports AutoAuth. This allows you to register with AutoAuth to bypass the SGW and perform diagnostics and bi-directional tests without needing a bypass cable.
