Operating with New Parts

Once the replacement parts are installed, your MEDION X10 SW robot vacuum cleaner is ready to resume operation. The new components ensure:

  • Optimal Cleaning Performance: Fresh brushes and filters enhance dirt pickup and air filtration.
  • Reduced Allergens: New HEPA filters effectively capture dust, pollen, and other airborne particles.
  • Extended Robot Lifespan: Properly functioning filters prevent dust and debris from damaging the robot's motor and other sensitive parts.

You may notice improved suction, quieter operation, or more thorough cleaning results with the new accessories.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance of your robot vacuum's accessories is crucial for sustained performance.

  • Replacement Frequency: For optimal cleaning and filtration, it is recommended to replace cleaning accessories every 2-3 months, depending on usage frequency and household environment (e.g., pets, high traffic).
  • Mop Cloths: Mop cloths can typically be washed and reused. Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Air dry completely before reattaching.
  • Brushes: Periodically check the main and side brushes for tangled hair or debris. Use a cleaning tool (often provided with the robot) or scissors to remove any obstructions.
  • Filters: Tap the HEPA filters gently over a trash can to dislodge accumulated dust. Do not wash HEPA filters with water unless explicitly stated by the robot manufacturer, as this can damage the filter material.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues after replacing parts, consider the following:

  • Reduced Cleaning Performance:
    • Ensure all brushes are correctly installed and spinning freely.
    • Check that the HEPA filter is seated properly in the dustbin and not clogged.
    • Verify that the mop cloth is clean and correctly attached.
  • Unusual Noises:
    • Confirm that the main brush is installed correctly and not obstructed by hair or debris.
    • Ensure side brushes are securely fastened and not bent.
  • Parts Not Fitting:
    • Double-check that you have the correct replacement parts for the MEDION X10 SW model.
    • Refer to the installation steps and corresponding figures to ensure correct alignment.

If problems persist, consult your robot vacuum's original user manual or contact the manufacturer's support.
