Figure 1: Detailed PCB Diagram with Labeled Components
Video 1: Wiring and Basic Operation Demonstration
5.1. Initial Checks
- Voltage Confirmation: Ensure the board is compatible with your power supply (110V or 220V).
- Limit Switch Type: Determine if you are using a mechanical or magnetic limit switch.
5.2. Wiring Connections
Follow the wiring diagram (Figure 1) and the video demonstration (Video 1) carefully.
- Power Input (PE N L): Connect your main power supply to the PE (Ground), N (Neutral), and L (Live) terminals.
- Motor Connections (MOTO1, MOTO2, COM): Connect your gate motor wires to these terminals. Typically, MOTO1 and MOTO2 are for motor direction, and COM is the common wire.
- Limit Switches (LMT1, LMT2, GND): Connect your limit switches here. LMT1 and LMT2 are for the open and close limits, respectively, and GND is the common ground.
- IR Sensor (IR_SW, +15V, GND, IR_IN): If using an infrared sensor, connect it to these terminals. If no external IR sensor is used, a bridge must be placed between the IR_SW and GND terminals for the system to operate correctly (as shown in Video 1).
- Other Inputs: The board supports various inputs such as button switch, photocell, and backup battery. Connect these as per your system requirements.
5.3. DIP Switch Configuration
The DIP switches (labeled 1-6) on the PCB allow for various functional adjustments. Set them according to your specific needs:
| DIP Switch | Function |
|---|---|
| DIP 1 (ATD.CL START) | Automatic door closing delay start. |
| DIP 2 (MAX.S) | Maximum power start. |
| DIP 3 (CLS.FORCE) | Close force adjustment. |
| DIP 4 (ZFR.ONE) | Remote control 1-button / 3-button operation selection. |
| DIP 5 (RF.ON) | Remote control ON/OFF. |
| DIP 6 (NO/NC) | Limit switch type selection (Normally Open / Normally Closed). Set this according to your limit switch type. |
5.4. Remote Control Pairing
To pair a remote control:
- Locate the 'STUDY' button on the PCB.
- Press and hold the 'STUDY' button until an indicator light (e.g., LEARN LED) illuminates.
- Press the desired button on your remote control. The indicator light should flash or change, confirming successful pairing.
- Repeat for additional remote controls or buttons as needed.
Important: This board is designed to work only with LPSECURITY remote controllers and may not be compatible with other brands.
5.5. WiFi Module Integration (Tuya App)
The integrated WiFi module allows for smart control via the Tuya or Smart Life app. Follow the app's instructions to add the device and configure smart features. Ensure your WiFi network is stable for reliable operation.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Manual Operation
The PCB features dedicated buttons for basic gate control:
- OPEN: Press to open the gate.
- CLOSE: Press to close the gate.
- STOP: Press to stop the gate's movement.
A single button can be configured to cycle through Open, Stop, and Close commands (refer to DIP switch settings).
6.2. Remote Control Operation
After successful pairing, use the remote control buttons to operate the gate:
- Typically, Button A opens the gate.
- Button B closes the gate.
- Button D stops the gate.
Refer to your remote control's specific button assignments if different.
6.3. Smart Control (Tuya/Smart Life App)
Once connected to the Tuya or Smart Life app, you can control your gate remotely, set schedules, and integrate with other smart home devices. Follow the app's interface for these advanced functions.
7. Maintenance
- Regularly inspect all wiring connections for signs of wear or damage.
- Keep the PCB clean and free from dust, moisture, and debris.
- Check the functionality of limit switches and safety sensors periodically.
- Ensure the gate track is clear of obstructions.
8. Troubleshooting
- Gate not operating: Check power supply, ensure all wires are securely connected, and verify the IR sensor bridge is in place if no external sensor is used.
- Remote control not working: Check remote battery (if applicable), re-pair the remote control, and ensure DIP 5 (RF.ON) is enabled.
- Gate stops unexpectedly: Check for physical obstructions, verify limit switch functionality, and adjust force settings (DIP 3, @CL.FORCE) if necessary.
- Gate moves in the wrong direction: Adjust the 'MOTO DIRECTION' setting on the PCB.
- Gate does not close automatically: Check @TIMER and @ATD.CL settings for automatic closing delay.
9. User Tips
- Always confirm the correct voltage (110V or 220V) and limit switch type (mechanical or magnetic) before purchasing and installing the board.
- If you are not using an external infrared sensor, ensure the IR sensor bridge is correctly installed on the PCB for proper operation.
- The remote control functionality is specific to LPSECURITY remotes; other brands may not be compatible.
