4. Safety Information and Protections

Important Safety Note:

  • Always connect the red clip to the positive (+) terminal of the car battery.

5. Charging the Jump Starter

Before first use, fully charge the jump starter. It is recommended to charge the unit every 3 months to maintain battery health, as low power may prevent it from starting a vehicle.

  • Connect the provided charging cable to the Type-C input port on the jump starter.
  • Connect the other end of the charging cable to a suitable USB power adapter (not included).
  • The digital display will show the charging progress. A full charge takes approximately 6 hours.

6. Operating Instructions: Jump Starting Your Car

This jump starter is suitable for various vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, trucks, motorcycles, and even small excavators. It can start gasoline engines up to 6.5L and diesel engines up to 5.0L.

Follow these four steps to jump start your car:

  1. Connect the Jumper Cable: Insert the blue end of the jumper cable into the dedicated 'DO' port on the jump starter unit. Ensure the jump starter has sufficient power (check the digital display).
  2. Attach to Car Battery: Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of your car battery. Connect the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of your car battery.
  3. Start Your Engine: Return to your car and start the engine.
  4. Remove Clamps: Once the vehicle has started, immediately remove the clamps from the car battery (recommended within 30 seconds) and then disconnect the jumper cable from the jump starter unit.

7. Using the LED Flashlight

The jump starter features a multi-function LED lamp for emergency lighting:

  • Torch Mode (Constant Light): Press and hold the 'Power' key for 3 seconds to turn on the constant light. This mode can last up to 48 hours.
  • Flashing Mode (Strobe): Press the 'Power' button again to switch to high-frequency flashing.
  • SOS Mode: Press the 'Power' button a third time to activate the SOS signal (3 short / 3 long / 3 short flashes). This mode can also last up to 48 hours.

8. Using as a Power Bank

The jump starter is equipped with dual USB output interfaces (5V-2A; 5V-1A) to charge most digital devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and PSP game consoles.

  • Connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the USB output ports on the jump starter.
  • The digital display will show the output voltage and charging status.

Note:

  • Charge phones and tablets only when in urgent need, as the efficiency is approximately 50%.
  • The charge/discharge speed may be faster during the last 15% of the jump starter's power. This is normal for high-rate lithium batteries and does not affect product quality.

9. Maintenance and Storage

  • Store the jump starter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures outside its operating range (-20℃ to 60℃ or -40℃ to 80℃ depending on model).
  • Charge the unit every 3 months to prevent deep discharge and prolong battery life.
  • Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the ports are free from dust and debris.
  • The unit is designed to be portable and can be safely taken on planes.

10. Troubleshooting

  • Unit not turning on: Ensure the unit is charged. If it has been stored for a long time, it might require a full charge.
  • Vehicle not starting: Check that the clamps are securely connected to the correct battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative). Ensure the jump starter has sufficient power. If the car battery is severely damaged, the jump starter may not be able to start it.
  • LED light not working: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate the torch mode. Cycle through modes with short presses.
  • Device not charging from USB: Ensure the jump starter is powered on and has sufficient charge. Try a different USB cable or port.

  • For optimal performance, keep your jump starter fully charged, especially before long trips or during winter months when car batteries are more prone to failure.
