4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Installation

4.2 App Connection (Tuya Smart App)

  1. Download Tuya Smart App: Download and install the "Tuya Smart" app from your mobile application store.

  • TF Card Storage: Supports all-day video recording locally. Videos can be viewed remotely via the mobile app. The maximum supported TF (Micro SD) card size is 8-128GB, which needs to be purchased separately.
  • Cloud Storage: Offers safer data storage, protecting against loss or damage. Cloud storage service needs to be purchased separately; refer to the app for details.

6. Maintenance

  • Power Supply: Ensure the camera is connected to a stable power supply within the specified voltage range (110-220V).

  • Storage Management: Periodically review your recorded footage and manage storage space, especially if using a TF card. Back up important videos to cloud storage or another device.

7. Troubleshooting

Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi:
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
  • Check if the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
  • Make sure the camera is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
  • Try resetting the camera and repeating the connection process.
  • Confirm your Wi-Fi is normal and generate the QR code again.
Poor video quality:
  • Check your internet connection speed. A stable and fast connection is required for optimal streaming.
  • Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from dust or smudges.
  • Verify that the camera is set to 1080P resolution in the app settings.
Night vision not working:
  • Ensure the camera is in a completely dark environment for infrared night vision to activate automatically.
  • Check app settings to ensure night vision is enabled or set to auto.
Two-way audio issues:
  • Check the volume settings on your phone and in the camera app.
  • Ensure there is no obstruction blocking the camera's microphone or speaker.
  • Minimize background noise for clearer communication.
Motion detection alerts not received:
  • Verify that motion detection is enabled in the Tuya Smart app settings.
  • Check the sensitivity settings for motion detection.
  • Ensure app notifications are enabled on your mobile device.
