4. Initial Setup

4.1 Inserting Batteries

4.2 Fitting the Hearing Aid

Your hearing aid professional will ensure your device is properly fitted with the correct earhook, tubing, and ear dome/mold for your ear. Ensure the hearing aid sits comfortably behind your ear and the ear dome/mold is securely placed in your ear canal.

4.3 First Use and Programming

Your hearing aids are pre-programmed by a hearing care professional according to your individual hearing needs. For optimal performance, initial fitting and adjustments are crucial.

5. Operating Your Hearing Aids

5.1 Power On/Off

To turn on your hearing aid, close the battery compartment door. To turn it off, open the battery compartment door fully.

5.2 Volume Control and Program Changes

Your hearing aids may have a physical button for volume control or program changes. Consult your hearing care professional for specific instructions on your model's controls.

5.3 Oticon ON App Connectivity

The Oticon Jet hearing aids connect seamlessly to compatible devices via advanced Bluetooth® Low Energy technology. You can control your hearing aids and access various features using the Oticon ON App.

  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use alcohol, solvents, or other harsh chemicals to clean your hearing aids.
