5.1 Sharpening Process

4. Pull Through: Gently pull the knife blade through the slot from heel to tip, applying light, consistent downward pressure. Do not push the knife back and forth.
5. Repeat: Repeat the pulling motion 3-5 times for each side of the blade. For optimal results, alternate between the left and right sides of the slot.
6. Progress Stages: If starting with a coarser grit (Slot 1 or 2), repeat the process in the next finer grit slot (Slot 2, then 3, then 4) until the desired sharpness is achieved.
7. Turn Off: Once sharpening is complete, turn off the sharpener by flipping the power switch to the 'OFF' position.
