4. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your motherboard.

  • Dust Removal: Regularly clean dust from the motherboard and other PC components using compressed air or a soft brush. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • BIOS Battery: The CMOS battery (CR2032) may be removed before shipping due to customs regulations. You may need to install a new battery upon receipt to ensure proper BIOS settings retention.
  • Environmental Conditions: Operate the motherboard in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, humidity, and corrosive chemicals.

5. Troubleshooting

  • No Display Output: If you are not getting a display, ensure your processor supports integrated graphics if you are using the motherboard's video outputs (HDMI, DVI, VGA). If using a dedicated graphics card, ensure it is properly seated in the PCIe x16 slot and connected to power.
  • System Fails to Boot: Check all power connections (24-pin and 8-pin ATX 12V). Verify that RAM modules are correctly seated. Ensure the CPU is properly installed.
  • M.2 SSD Not Detected: Confirm the M.2 SSD is securely installed in its slot. Check BIOS settings to ensure M.2 slots are enabled and configured correctly.
  • Intermittent Issues: Ensure all cables are securely connected. Check for any loose components. Consider updating BIOS/UEFI firmware if available.
