- Using the Base Charger: Place the radio into the charging cradle. Ensure the charging indicator lights up.
- Using Type-C USB: Connect a Type-C USB cable to the radio's Type-C charging port and to a compatible power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, vehicle charger, PC, power bank). The Type-C charging indicator will show the charging status.
- Charge the battery fully before first use.

5.2. Attaching the Antenna
Screw the antenna clockwise onto the antenna connector on top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
6. Operation
6.1. Power On/Off
To power on the radio, rotate the power/volume knob clockwise. To power off, rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks.
6.2. Wireless Frequency Copy
This feature allows you to quickly copy a frequency from another radio without manual programming.
- Step 1: Power on your UV-K67 PRO walkie talkie. Press the "SWEEP" key (often labeled with a magnifying glass icon or similar). The screen will display "SEARCH SWEEK...".
- Step 2: Have the other walkie talkie transmit on the desired frequency. Your UV-K67 PRO will search for and detect this frequency. Once found, press the "MENU" key to confirm and store it.
- Step 3: Switch to channel mode (using the VFO/MR key). The display will show the copied frequency. You can now communicate on this frequency.

6.3. Channel Mode (MR) vs. Frequency Mode (VFO)
- VFO Mode (Frequency Mode): Allows direct input of frequencies and real-time tuning.
- MR Mode (Memory Channel Mode): Accesses pre-programmed channels.
Use the VFO/MR key to switch between these modes.
6.4. NOAA Weather Stations

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power | Battery discharged or not properly installed. | Recharge the battery or ensure it is correctly installed. |
| No communication / Poor reception | Incorrect frequency/channel, out of range, antenna loose, low battery. | Verify frequency/channel settings. Move closer to other radios. Check antenna connection. Recharge battery. |
| Wireless copy frequency fails | Other radio not transmitting, signal too weak, incorrect procedure. | Ensure the transmitting radio is active. Follow the wireless copy steps precisely. Try again in closer proximity. |
| Audio distortion | Volume too high/low, poor signal, microphone too close/far. | Adjust volume. Improve signal reception. Speak clearly into the microphone at a moderate distance. |
