3. Setup Instructions
- Placement: Position the air pump in a dry, stable location above the water level of your aquarium or pond. This prevents water from siphoning back into the pump in case of a power outage. The pump is suitable for water depths between 20-60 cm.
- Air Tubing Connection: Connect appropriate air tubing (not included) to the air outlets on the pump. The YT-304 model features four air outlets.
- Check Valve Installation: For safety and to prevent water backflow, install a check valve (not included) in-line with the air tubing between the pump and the air stone/diffuser. Ensure the check valve is oriented correctly, allowing air to flow towards the water but blocking water from flowing back towards the pump.
- Air Stone/Diffuser Connection: Connect the other end of the air tubing (with the check valve) to your air stone or diffuser, then place it in the water.
- Power Connection: Plug the air pump into a suitable 220V/50Hz power outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Once all connections are secure, plug the pump into the power outlet. The pump will start operating immediately.
- Adjusting Air Volume: The YT-304 model features a stepless regulation knob on the top of the unit (see Figure 5). Rotate this knob to adjust the air output volume according to your requirements. Turn clockwise to increase air flow and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
- Monitoring: Observe the air bubbles in your aquarium or system to ensure adequate oxygenation. Adjust the air volume as needed.

- No Air Output:
- Check if the pump is properly plugged into a working power outlet.
- Ensure the air tubing is not kinked or blocked.
- Verify that the air stone/diffuser is not clogged. Clean or replace if necessary.
- Inspect the air intake vents for obstructions.
- Reduced Airflow:
- Check for kinks or leaks in the air tubing.
- Clean or replace clogged air stones/diffusers.
- Ensure the air volume adjustment knob (for YT-304) is set to the desired level.
- Clean any debris from the air intake.
- Excessive Noise:
- Ensure the pump is placed on a flat, stable surface. The pump is designed with soft shock absorbers to minimize vibration and noise.
- Check if any part of the pump is touching other objects, causing rattling.
- Inspect the rubber feet for wear or damage.
