The charger automatically adjusts charging voltage based on temperature to prevent overcharging in summer and ensure full charge in winter (Car mode only).

  • Winter Mode: When the temperature is below +10°C, the charger raises the charge voltage (Car mode only).
  • Summer Mode: When the temperature is above +28°C, the charger reduces the charge voltage (Car mode only).

5. Maintenance

  • Always unplug the charger from the AC outlet before performing any cleaning or maintenance.
  • Wipe the charger's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  • Ensure the cooling fan vents are clear of dust and debris to maintain proper airflow.
  • The charger can be left connected to the battery for extended periods to provide maintenance charging, keeping the battery optimally charged.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your charger, refer to the LED display for error codes and follow these steps:

  • Wrong Polarity (ERO): If the display shows 'ERO' or indicates wrong polarity, immediately disconnect the clamps and re-connect them correctly (Red to positive, Black to negative).
  • Defect Battery: If the charger indicates a 'Defect battery' error, have your battery professionally checked. It may need to be replaced.
  • Bad Connection: If charging does not start or an error related to connection appears, check all connections between the charger, battery, and AC outlet to ensure they are secure and clean.
  • Low Voltage (LOW): If the battery voltage is too low for the charger to initiate a standard charge, the charger will attempt to enter Desulphation mode (if applicable) or indicate 'LOW'. Ensure the battery is not severely damaged. The charger can start charging from a minimum of 5.0V.
