Setup
- Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the hair clipper. Connect the charging cable to the clipper and a standard DC 5V USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for full).
- Blade Inspection: Ensure the blades are clean and free from debris. Apply a small drop of lubricating oil to the blades if they appear dry.
- Attach Guide Comb: Select the desired guide comb (1mm, 2mm, or 3mm) and slide it onto the clipper head until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent it from detaching during use.
Operating Instructions
- Preparation: Ensure hair is clean and dry. For best results, comb hair in the direction of growth.
- Power On: Press the power button located on the front of the clipper to turn it on.
- Clipping:
- Hold the clipper with the blades pointing downwards.
- Start clipping from the bottom of the head, moving upwards against the direction of hair growth.
- Use slow, steady strokes.
- Regularly clear hair from the guide comb to maintain consistent cutting.
- For blending, use different guide comb lengths or remove the comb for precise edging.
- Power Off: After use, press the power button to turn off the clipper.
Safety Precautions:
- Do not immerse the clipper in water.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use if the blades are damaged or bent, as this may cause injury.
- Avoid using the clipper on wet hair unless specifically designed for it (this model is generally for dry use).
Maintenance
- Cleaning Blades: After each use, turn off the clipper and remove the guide comb. Use the provided cleaning brush to brush away any loose hairs from the blades and the clipper head.
- Lubrication: Apply 1-2 drops of lubricating oil (included) to the blades after every few uses or when they feel dry. Turn the clipper on for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly. This helps maintain blade sharpness and prolongs the clipper's life.
- Storage: Store the clipper in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure it is turned off and the guide comb is either removed or securely attached.
- Battery Care: To maintain battery health, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Recharge when the power indicator suggests low battery. If storing for an extended period, charge the clipper to about 50% every three months.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Clipper does not turn on. | Battery is depleted. | Charge the clipper fully. |
| Clipper pulls hair or cuts unevenly. | Blades are dull, dirty, or not lubricated. Hair is too wet or tangled. | Clean and lubricate blades. Ensure hair is dry and combed. If blades are dull, consider professional sharpening or replacement (if available). |
| Clipper makes unusual noise. | Blades are not properly aligned or lubricated. Internal issue. | Clean and lubricate blades. If problem persists, contact customer support. |
| Guide comb detaches during use. | Comb not securely attached. | Ensure the guide comb clicks firmly into place before use. |
User Tips
Based on general user feedback for similar products:
- Always start with a longer guide comb than you think you need, and gradually reduce the length.
- For a cleaner cut, make sure to stretch the skin taut in the area you are clipping.
- Clean the clipper immediately after each use to prevent hair buildup from affecting performance.
- Regular lubrication is key to maintaining blade sharpness and preventing rust.
