To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the camera lens and the doorbell's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Poor WiFi Signal: Ensure the doorbell is within 6 meters of your 2.4G WiFi router. Avoid placing the doorbell on metal surfaces like iron doors, as this can interfere with the signal.
  • Doorbell Not Responding: Check the battery level in the app. If low, recharge the doorbell. If the issue persists, try resetting the device using the reset button on the back.
  • No Video Recording: Confirm that the doorbell is connected to WiFi and that cloud storage is active. Remember, this device only supports free three-day cloud storage and does not use SD cards.
  • False Motion Alerts: Adjust the PIR motion detection sensitivity settings within the cam720 app to reduce unwanted alerts.
  • Siren Alarm Not Activating: Ensure the siren alarm function is enabled in the app settings. If the doorbell is forcibly removed, the alarm should sound if configured.

10. User Tips

  • For long-term outdoor use, especially in areas with heavy rainfall, consider purchasing an additional waterproof cover to protect the device.
  • While the doorbell provides excellent communication and monitoring, it does not include remote door unlocking functionality.
