5. Charging the Battery
To charge the keypad, first ensure the battery switch is in the 'on' position. Connect the keypad to a power outlet using the provided USB cable and a compatible USB power adapter. A full charge from an empty state typically takes two to three hours. The power indicator will transition from breathing green to solid green when fully charged.
If the keypad's battery is low, the power indicator will flash red once every 2 seconds, signaling that it requires charging.

6. Installation
Before permanent installation, it is recommended to test the keypad's communication range with your hub to ensure optimal signal strength.
Avoid mounting the keypad on metal surfaces, as metal can interfere with RF signals between the keypad and the receiver, potentially reducing performance.
To install, fix the provided bracket to your desired surface using the included screws. Once the bracket is secure, simply insert the keypad into the bracket.

7. About Keypad Operation
Sleep/Wake Mode
To conserve battery power, the keypad automatically enters sleep mode if there is no operation within 20 seconds. To wake the keypad, simply touch any button.
User and Admin Passcode
The keypad utilizes two 4-digit passcodes:
- User Passcode: Used for arming (away or home) and disarming your security system. The default user passcode is "1234".
- Admin Passcode: Used for advanced functions such as pairing new RFID tags, deleting existing RFID tags, and changing both user and admin passcodes. The default admin passcode is "8888".
8. Programming
Basic Programming Steps
- Enter the admin passcode, then press the Check/Set/Continue button (√). The setting indicator will light up, indicating that programming mode is ready.
- Input the corresponding number to select a function:
- 1: Pair RFID Tag
- 2: Delete RFID Tag
- 3: Delete All RFID Tags
- 0: Set User Passcode
- 9: Set Admin Passcode
- After selecting the function, press the Check/Set/Continue button (√). The setting indicator will blink.
- Enter the specific setting (e.g., new passcode, tag number), then press the Check/Set/Continue button (√). The buzzer will beep twice to confirm.
- To exit programming mode, press the Clear/Return button (←) then the Check/Set/Continue button (√).
Pairing RFID Tag
The RFID tags included with your kit are pre-paired. If you need to pair additional tags or re-pair existing ones, follow these steps:
- Enter the admin passcode, then press √.
- Press 1, then press √.
- Enter a digit from 0 to 9 to assign a unique number to the tag. Then press √. The arming, disarming, and setting indicators will blink simultaneously.
- Tap the RFID tag on the reader zone. The keypad will emit two beeps to confirm successful pairing.
Tip: Up to 10 RFID tags can be added.

Deleting RFID Tag
- Enter the admin passcode, then press √.
- Press 2, then press √.
- Enter the tag number (0-9) of the RFID tag you wish to delete, then press √.
Deleting All RFID Tags
- Enter the admin passcode, then press √.
- Press 3, then press √ to delete all paired RFID tags.
Setting User Passcode
- Enter the admin passcode, then press √.
- Press 0, then press √.
- Enter the new 4-digit user passcode, then press √.
Setting Admin Passcode
- Enter the admin passcode, then press √.
- Press 9, then press √.
- Enter the new 4-digit admin passcode, then press √.
9. How to Connect Your Keypad to Hub
To connect your keypad to your security hub:
- Set your security hub into pairing/sniffer mode (refer to your hub's manual for specific instructions).
- Enter the user passcode on the keypad, then press the 'Away Arm' button (
) to send an arming transmission signal to the hub. - The hub will provide a successful indication (e.g., a beep or on-screen message) once paired.

10. Doorbell Function
The doorbell function uses a different identification number than the arming/disarming functions. Therefore, you must pair the doorbell code with your hub before using it.
- Set your security hub into pairing/sniffer mode.
- Press the Doorbell button (
) on the keypad to send a doorbell transmission signal to the hub. - The hub will provide a successful indication.
Once successfully paired, the doorbell function can be used.
11. Arming/Disarming Your Security System Via Keypad
Using User Passcode
- To Away Arm: Enter user passcode, then press the 'Away Arm' button (
). - To Disarm: Enter user passcode, then press the 'Disarm' button (
). - To Home Arm: Enter user passcode, then press the 'Home Arm' button (
).
Using RFID Tag
- To Away Arm: Tap the RFID tag on the reader zone, then press the 'Away Arm' button (
). - To Disarm: Tap the RFID tag on the reader zone, then press the 'Disarm' button (
). - To Home Arm: Tap the RFID tag on the reader zone, then press the 'Home Arm' button (
).
12. Reset
This process will reset your keypad to its factory default settings and remove all paired RFID tags.
To perform a reset, press and release the tamper switch (located underneath the bracket) ten times. All indicators on the keypad will then illuminate, and the keypad will restart.
13. User Tips
- Hub Requirement: This keypad requires a compatible security hub to function as part of a security system. It connects via the eV1527 protocol.
- Smart Home Platform: This keypad is designed to work with Tuya Smart Home platforms. Ensure your hub is Tuya-compatible for seamless integration.
- RFID Card Convenience: Utilize the RFID cards for quick and easy arming/disarming, especially when entering or exiting your property.
14. Troubleshooting
- Keypad Not Responding: Check the battery level. Ensure the battery on/off switch (13) is in the 'on' position. If the power indicator flashes red, recharge the battery.
- Pairing Issues with Hub: Verify that your security hub is correctly set to pairing/sniffer mode. Ensure the keypad is within the effective communication range (up to 80 meters without obstacles). Avoid mounting the keypad on metal surfaces, as this can interfere with RF signals.
- Arming/Disarming Not Working: Double-check that you are entering the correct user or admin passcode. If using RFID tags, ensure they have been successfully paired with the keypad.
- Doorbell Function Not Working: Confirm that the doorbell code has been separately paired with your security hub as described in Section 10.
