4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Connecting the Printer

  1. Connect the power adapter to the printer's power input port and then plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  2. Connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer. For models with optional interfaces, connect via LAN, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi as per your network configuration.
  3. Turn on the printer using the power switch located at the rear.

4.3 Driver Installation

Insert the provided installation CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer drivers. Drivers are available for Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS operating systems.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Printing Labels

Once the printer is connected and drivers are installed, you can print labels from your preferred software. The WP300B supports a high printing speed of up to 152 mm/s (6 inches/second) and is compatible with various print commands including TSPL, EPL, ZPL, and DPL.

5.2 Supported Media Types

The printer is versatile and supports various thermal media types, including continuous, gap, black mark, fan-fold, and punched hole labels. The media width can range from 20mm to 118mm (0.78" to 4.4"), with a maximum print width of 108mm (4.25").

5.3 Real-Time Clock (RTC) Function

6.1 Cleaning the Print Head

The thermal print head (TPH) should be cleaned regularly to prevent print quality issues. Use a lint-free cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol to gently wipe the print head surface. Ensure the printer is turned off and cooled down before cleaning.

6.2 Cleaning the Platen Roller

The platen roller can accumulate dust and adhesive residue. Clean it with a lint-free cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol. Rotate the roller manually to clean its entire surface.

6.3 General Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the printer with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the printer's casing.

7. Troubleshooting
