3. Product Overview

3.1. Ports and Controls

4. Setup

4.1. Placement

Position the projector on a stable, flat surface. For optimal viewing, a screen size of 80-120 inches at a distance of 8-13 feet (approximately 2.5-4 meters) is recommended. The projector supports a projection distance of 1.5 to 6 meters for screen sizes ranging from 40 to 200 inches.

4.2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cable to the projector's power input.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a power outlet.

4.3. Initial Power On

Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn on the device. The projector will boot up and display the main menu.

4.4. Keystone Correction and Zoom

Adjust the image shape using the manual keystone correction dial on the projector or electronic correction via the remote control. The projector also features a 75%-100% zoom function, allowing you to adjust the image size directly via the remote control without moving the projector.

  2. From the projector's default menu, select "iOS Cast".
  3. On your iPhone or iPad, find the "Screen Mirroring" option, then select and connect to the projector's WiFi network (e.g., "WiMiUS S2-xxx").
  4. The WiFi screen mirroring should now be active.

For Android Devices (Android smartphone / Android tablet):

  1. On the projector's default menu, select "Mira Cast".
  2. On your Android phone or tablet, find the "Screen Share" option, then select and connect to the projector's WiFi network (e.g., "WiMiUS K5-xxx").
  3. The WiFi screen mirroring should now be active.

5.2. Bluetooth Connection

The K5 projector features Bluetooth 5.0, allowing you to connect to external Bluetooth speakers or headphones for enhanced audio.

  1. Ensure your Bluetooth audio device is in pairing mode.
  2. On the projector's menu, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Select your desired Bluetooth device from the list to connect.
