5. Setup Guide

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your AI Voice Recorder. Connect the provided Type-C data cable to the device's Type-C interface and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The pilot lamp will indicate charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

5.2 Powering On/Off

To power on the device and activate recording, slide the "Recording/on/off" switch to the right. To power off, slide the switch back to the left.

5.3 APP Installation and Bluetooth Connection

  1. Download the "AIREC" app from your mobile device's app store (compatible with Android and iOS).
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  3. Open the AIREC app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your ALLOYSEED A6 Voice Recorder. The device supports wireless BT connection.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Recording

To start recording, simply slide the "Recording/on/off" switch to the right. The device will begin "one-touch quick recording". The pilot lamp will indicate that recording is in progress. Slide the switch back to the left to stop and save the recording.

6.2 Magnetic Attachment

The recorder features magnetic adsorption, allowing it to be securely attached to metal surfaces or the back of your phone for convenient, hands-free recording during meetings, lectures, or interviews.

6.4 Playback

Recordings can be played back directly through the AIREC app on your connected mobile device. The device supports various playback formats including MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, WAV, AAC-LC ACELP.

6.5 Other Recording Features

  • Timestamp: All recordings are automatically stamped with the date and time.
  • Automatic Split Recording: The device can automatically split long recordings into smaller, manageable files.
  • Overwrite Recording: This feature allows new recordings to overwrite older ones when memory is full (consult app settings for configuration).
