4. Initial Setup

Follow these steps to set up your ArtiDiag600 Elite for first-time use:

  1. Power On: Press and hold the Power/Screen Off Button (1) to turn on the device.
  2. Language Selection: Upon first boot, select your preferred language from the available options. The device supports 12 languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Italian, Simplified/Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Turkish.
  3. Wi-Fi Connection: Connect the device to a stable Wi-Fi network to enable software updates and online features.
  4. Vehicle Connection:
    • Locate your vehicle's OBD-II port (usually under the dashboard).
    • Connect the OBDII Diagnostic Cable (2) to the ArtiDiag600 Elite and then to your vehicle's OBD-II port.
    • Turn on your vehicle's ignition (engine off).
  5. AutoVIN Recognition: The device will automatically detect your vehicle's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) for quick and accurate identification. Confirm the vehicle information displayed on the screen.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Full-System Diagnostics

The ArtiDiag600 Elite provides comprehensive diagnostics for all available vehicle systems. This includes reading and clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), viewing live data streams, and accessing ECU information.

To perform a full-system diagnostic:

  1. From the main menu, select "Diagnostics".
  2. Choose your vehicle make and model.
  3. Select "Auto Scan" or manually select the system you wish to diagnose (e.g., Engine, ABS, SRS).
  4. The device will scan the selected system(s) and display any detected DTCs.
  5. You can then choose to "Read Fault Codes", "Clear Fault Codes", "Read Live Data", or "Read Module Information".

  • Oil Reset: Resets the oil change light or reminder after an oil change.
  • Throttle Adaptation (ETS Reset): Relearns the throttle position sensor for smoother acceleration.

  1. After selecting a system in Diagnostics, choose "Read Live Data".
  2. Select the data parameters you wish to monitor.
