Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the walnut wood finish or electronic components.
  • Storage: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the radio regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • Wood Care: As the casing is made of natural walnut wood, minor variations in grain and color are normal. Avoid exposing the wood to excessive moisture or harsh chemicals.

Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the Type-C charger and try again. Check if the Power/Volume knob is turned sufficiently clockwise.
  • No Sound: Check the volume level. Ensure the correct mode (FM, SW, Bluetooth, AUX) is selected. If using AUX, verify the external device's volume and cable connection.
  • Poor Radio Reception: Try repositioning the radio. If using an external antenna, ensure it is properly connected and positioned. Interference from other electronic devices can also affect reception.
  • Bluetooth Not Connecting: Ensure the radio is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Turn off and on Bluetooth on your source device. Make sure the radio is within the 32ft range. If previously paired, try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
  • Distorted Sound: Reduce the volume. Adjust the Tone (Bass/Treble) knob. Ensure the audio source is not distorted.

User Tips

  • For the best audio experience, experiment with the Bass and Treble adjustments to match your personal preference and the type of music or broadcast you are listening to.
  • When using the radio function, try different locations in your home to find the spot with the clearest reception, especially for Shortwave bands.
  • To preserve the vintage aesthetic, handle the walnut wood casing with care and avoid placing it in areas prone to spills or scratches.
