- 1 x WAVLINK USB C to HDMI Dual Display Adapter (WL-UMD320)
- 1 x Quick Start Guide

Setup Instructions
- Connect to Host Device: Plug the USB-C cable of the adapter into a compatible USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 port on your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. Ensure your host device's USB-C port supports video output.
- Connect HDMI Displays:
- For a single display, connect an HDMI cable from your monitor to either HDMI 1 (8K@30Hz) or HDMI 2 (4K@60Hz) port on the adapter.
- For dual displays, connect HDMI cables from both monitors to the HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 ports on the adapter.
- Connect Power (Optional but Recommended): If your host device requires charging or if you want to utilize the Power Delivery feature, connect your USB-C power adapter (not included) to the 'PD IN-100W' USB-C port on the adapter. This will provide up to 95W of power to your host device.
- Configure Display Settings: Once connected, your operating system should automatically detect the external displays. You may need to adjust display settings (e.g., resolution, refresh rate, display mode) in your system's display preferences.

Operating Instructions
The adapter supports various display modes depending on your operating system:
Display Modes on Windows
- Mirror Mode (AAA): Duplicates your laptop's screen onto both external monitors.
- Extend Mode (ABC): Extends your desktop across all three screens (laptop + two external monitors), allowing for a larger workspace.

Display Modes on Mac OS
- Mirror Mode (AAA): Duplicates your MacBook's screen onto both external monitors.
- Non-Mirror Mode (ABB): Extends your desktop to one external monitor, while the other external monitor mirrors the extended display. Mac OS does not support extending two different screens due to OS system limitations.

Compatibility
The adapter is designed for wide compatibility and is driver-free for the following systems and devices:
- Compatible Systems: Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7, Mac OS, Chrome OS, Linux, iPad OS, Harmony OS, Android.
- Compatible USB-C Hosts: MacBook Pro/Air, Dell XPS 15, HP 15s, iPad Pro, Samsung Galaxy series, and other USB-C Desktop PCs, Laptops, Tablets/Mobile Phones that support video output.

Troubleshooting
- No Display Output:
- Ensure your host device's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode). Not all USB-C ports support this function.
- Check all cable connections (USB-C from adapter to host, HDMI from adapter to monitor) are secure.
- Try connecting a single monitor first to isolate the issue.
- Update your graphics drivers on your host device.
- Flickering or Unstable Display:
- Ensure your HDMI cables are of good quality and support the desired resolution and refresh rate.
- Reduce the display resolution or refresh rate in your system settings to see if stability improves.
- Ensure adequate power is supplied to the adapter and your host device, especially when using multiple high-resolution displays.
- Power Delivery Not Working:
- Verify that your host device's USB-C port supports Power Delivery (PD).
- Ensure your USB-C power adapter and cable are capable of delivering sufficient power (e.g., 100W for optimal performance).
- Mac OS Display Limitations: Remember that Mac OS will not support extending two different screens (ABC) due to OS system limits. It will typically extend to one external screen and mirror that extended screen on the second external monitor (ABB).
User Tips
- Mobile Phone Compatibility: While the adapter supports Android phones, ensure your specific phone model's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode). Older phones or those with only USB 2.0 capabilities on their USB-C port will not be able to output video.
- Optimal Performance: For the best display quality and stability, especially with 4K or 8K resolutions, use high-quality HDMI cables.
- Heat Management: The aluminum housing helps dissipate heat. It is normal for the adapter to feel warm during extended use, especially when driving multiple high-resolution displays or providing power delivery.
Maintenance
- Keep the adapter clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the adapter to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the adapter yourself, as this will void the warranty.
- Store the adapter in a cool, dry place when not in use.
