Introduction
The Farylink Zigbee 3.0 Smart Plug is designed to bring convenience and efficiency to your home by allowing remote control of electrical devices. This smart plug integrates with Zigbee gateways and popular smart home platforms like Tuya Smart Life, enabling voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It also features power monitoring and blackout memory for enhanced functionality.
Important Note: A TUYA Zigbee Gateway is required to utilize all functions of this Zigbee Plug.

The Farylink Smart Plug is available in 16A and 20A versions, designed for European sockets (220-240V). It features a compact design and is made from PC fire retardant material. Key functionalities include:

Setup Instructions
Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove the smart plug and user manual from its packaging. Inspect the device for any visible damage.

Download the App
Download the "Smart Life" App or "Tuya Smart" App from your smartphone's app store (Android 4.1/IOS 8.0 or above required). You can scan the QR codes below for direct access:

Connect Zigbee Gateway
Ensure your Zigbee Gateway Hub is powered on and connected to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz). Open the Smart Life/Tuya Smart App, navigate to "Add Device" and select "Zigbee Gateway Hub" to add it to your app. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the gateway setup.

Add the Smart Plug
Plug the Farylink Smart Plug into a power outlet. Long press the power button on the smart plug until the indicator light blinks. In the Smart Life/Tuya Smart App, select your Zigbee Gateway, then choose "Add Device" or "Add Sub-device" and follow the app's instructions to discover and add the smart plug. Once the indicator is steady on, the device is ready to use.

Operating Instructions
Basic On/Off Control
Once the smart plug is added to the app, you can remotely turn connected devices on or off from anywhere using your smartphone. Simply tap the power icon in the app to toggle the power state.

Timing and Countdown Functions
Set schedules for your devices to automatically turn on or off at specific times. This feature helps automate your home and save energy. The countdown function allows you to set a timer for a device to turn off after a set duration.

Voice Control
Integrate your smart plug with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for convenient voice control. Once linked, you can use commands like "Alexa, turn off the light" or "Hey Google, turn on the coffee maker."

Energy Monitoring
The smart plug provides real-time monitoring of power consumption for connected devices. This feature helps you track electricity usage and identify opportunities for energy saving.

Blackout Memory
The smart plug is equipped with a blackout memory function. In the event of a power outage, the plug will return to its last known state (on or off) once power is restored, preventing unexpected changes to your device's operation.

Device Sharing
You can share control of your smart plug with family members or other users through the Smart Life/Tuya Smart App. This allows multiple individuals to manage connected devices.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the smart plug from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use liquid cleaners or sprays.
- Storage: If not in use for an extended period, store the smart plug in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Avoid Overload: Do not exceed the maximum power rating of 3000W (resistance loading) for the smart plug. Avoid connecting multiple high-powered devices simultaneously.
Troubleshooting
- Plug not connecting to app:
- - Ensure your Zigbee Gateway is properly set up and connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- - Make sure the smart plug is in pairing mode (indicator blinking).
- - Check if your smartphone is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during setup.
- - Try resetting the smart plug by unplugging it for 10 seconds and plugging it back in, then re-attempt pairing.
- Voice control not working:
- - Verify that your smart plug is successfully linked to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant through the Smart Life/Tuya Smart App.
- - Check your internet connection and the status of your smart speaker.
- - Ensure you are using the correct voice commands.
- Device not responding:
- - Check if the smart plug is powered on and the connected device is working correctly.
- - Verify your home Wi-Fi network is active and stable.
- - Restart the smart plug and your Zigbee Gateway.
