6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Keycaps: Use the keycap puller to remove keycaps. Clean them with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.
  • Keyboard Body: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture.
  • Between Keys: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keys. A small brush can also be used.

6.2 Switch and Keycap Care

  • Avoid applying excessive force when removing or inserting switches and keycaps to prevent damage to the pins or sockets.
  • Store spare switches and keycaps in a clean, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged. Check the connection mode switch (Wired, 2.4G, BT) matches your connection method. For wired, try a different USB port or cable. For 2.4G, ensure the receiver is properly inserted. For Bluetooth, re-pair the device.
  • Bluetooth connection issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Try forgetting the device and re-pairing. Ensure the keyboard is within range.
  • 2.4G wireless lag or disconnection: Ensure the receiver is not obstructed. Try moving the receiver to a different USB port, preferably a front-facing one for better signal. Avoid interference from other wireless devices.
  • RGB lighting not working/incorrect: Check the software driver for lighting settings. Ensure the keyboard is not in a low-power mode.
  • LED screen not displaying correctly: Ensure the keyboard is powered on. Try adjusting screen brightness using FN + F1/F2. If issues persist, try resetting the keyboard (refer to software or advanced manual for reset procedures).
  • Keys not registering: If a specific key is not working, try hot-swapping the switch with a known working one or a spare to determine if the switch or the PCB socket is the issue.

8. User Tips

  • Layout Customization: While the keyboard has a 99-key English layout, users requiring specific regional layouts (e.g., ABNT2) may be able to customize key functions and mappings using the official software driver. Check the software's capabilities for advanced layout adjustments.
  • Battery Management: To maximize battery life, consider turning off RGB lighting when not needed, especially during extended wireless use.
  • Firmware Updates: Periodically check the official website (qmk.top/) for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
