3. Installation Guide

3.1 Endpin Jack Installation

  1. Locate the endpin of your guitar.
  2. Carefully remove the existing endpin (if any).
  3. Install the provided endpin jack into the guitar's endblock. Ensure the washer and lock washer are used as shown in the diagram to secure it properly.

3.2 Preamp Unit Installation

  1. Choose a suitable location on the side plate of your guitar for the preamp panel.
  2. Carefully cut an opening in the guitar body that matches the dimensions of the preamp panel.
  3. Insert the main PCBA of the preamp into the guitar body.
  4. Align the preamp panel with the opening and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the knobs are properly attached to the preamp panel.

3.3 Pickup and Microphone Connection

  • Connect the Piezo pickup sensor under the saddle of your guitar.
  • Position the internal microphone inside the soundhole, ensuring it is securely mounted and does not interfere with vibrations.
  • Connect both the Piezo and Microphone cables to their respective inputs on the preamp unit.

4.1 Control Panel Overview

  • VOLUME: Master volume control for the overall output. This knob also functions as the SFT & DSP switch.
  • TONE: Adjusts the tonal characteristics of your guitar's sound.
  • MIC: Controls the level of the internal microphone.
  • ROOM / HALL: Reverb selection and level control. Turn the knob to select between Room and Hall reverb, and adjust the intensity.
  • CHORUS / DELAY: Effect selection and level control. Turn the knob to select between Chorus and Delay effects, and adjust their intensity.
  • Indicator: Provides visual feedback on power status and charging.
  • Type C USB Charging Port: Used for charging the internal battery.

4.2 Powering On/Off and Charging

  • To power on the unit, press and hold the VOLUME knob. The indicator light will illuminate.
  • To power off, press and hold the VOLUME knob again until the indicator light turns off.
  • To charge the unit, connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port and a standard phone charger (not included). The indicator light will show charging status.
