5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the A2422 device.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert three (3) 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.

5.2 Switch Matching (Pairing)
To enable wireless control, the A2422 must be paired with your heater switch.
- Ensure the A2422 is in a shutdown state.
- Long press the [Add button] on the A2422. The Bluetooth icon will flash, indicating it's waiting for a match.
- On your heater switch, turn on its matching mode. This usually involves pressing and holding the [power button] and [right button] simultaneously.
- The heater switch screen will display "ADD -> SUC" (Add -> Success), confirming a successful match.
- The A2422 will automatically exit matching mode after 10 seconds, or you can press the power button to exit manually.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Long press the [power button] for 2 seconds. After successful matching, the heater switch status will be displayed.
- Power Off: In running state, press the [power button] to switch off the heater.
6.2 Mode Switching
After waking up the switch by pressing the [power button]:
- Press the [Settings Key] to cycle through modes.
- Available modes:
- LEU (Level): Gear mode.
- TEP (Temp): Temperature control mode.
- AUT (Auto): Constant temperature mode.
- SUP (Supper Plus): Intense heat mode (applicable to some motherboards).
- FAN: Ventilation mode (applicable to some motherboards).

6.3 Parameter Adjustment
In running state, press the [Increase/Decrease button] to adjust parameters. Parameters can be adjusted differently depending on the mode:
- Adjust gear in gear mode and ventilation mode.
- Adjust the setting temperature in temperature control mode and constant temperature mode.
6.4 Viewing Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Current Time
In power-on state:
- Long press the [Decrease button] to check carbon monoxide (CO) values.
- Press the [Decrease button] again to check the current time.
6.5 Setting Current Time (F00)
In power-on state:
- Long press the [Settings Key] to enter the settings mode (F00).
- Short press the [Settings Key] again to set hours. Use [Add and Subtract buttons] to adjust the value.
- Press the [Settings Key] to confirm hours.
- Set minutes using [Add and Subtract buttons] to adjust the value.
- Press [Settings Key] to save the data.
- Press the [power button] to return.
6.6 Temperature Compensation (F01)
In power-on state:
- Long press the [Settings button] to enter F00.
- When at F00, press the [Increase key] to switch to F01.
- Press the [Setup button] to set the temperature compensation. Use [Add and Subtract buttons] to adjust the value (range: -9°C to +9°C).
- Press the [Settings Key] to confirm.
- Press the [power button] to return.
6.7 Temperature Unit Switching (F02)
In power-on state:
- Long press the [Settings button] to enter F00.
- When at F00, press the [Increase key] twice to switch to F02.
- Press [Setup key] to set the temperature unit. Use [Add and Subtract buttons] to adjust the unit.
- Press the [Settings Key] to confirm.
- Press the [power button] to return.
6.8 Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarm Value Setting (F03)
In power-on state:
- Long press the [Settings button] to enter F00.
- When at F00, press the [Increase key] three times to switch to F03.
- Press the [Settings key] to set the carbon monoxide (CO) alarm value. Use [Add and Subtract buttons] to adjust the value (adjustment range from 0 to 500).
- Press the [Settings Key] to confirm.
- Press the [power button] to return.
6.9 Carbon Monoxide (CO) Shutdown Value Setting (F04)
In power-on state:
- Long press the [Settings button] to enter F00.
- When at F00, press the [Increase key] four times to switch to F04.
- Press the [Settings key] to set the carbon monoxide (CO) shutdown value. Use [Add and Subtract buttons] to adjust the value (adjustment range from 0 to 500).
- Press the [Settings Key] to confirm.
- Press the [power button] to return.
6.10 Backlight On or Off (F05)
In power-on state:
- Long press the [Settings button] to enter F00.
- When at F00, press the [Increase key] five times to switch to F05.
- Press the [Settings button] to set the automatic off time of the backlight. Use [Add and Subtract buttons] to adjust the value (adjustment range from 0 to 60 seconds).
- Press the [Settings Key] to confirm.
- Press the [power button] to return.
6.11 Ambient Temperature Value (F06)
In power-on state:
- Long press the [Settings button] to enter F00.
- When at F00, press the [Increase key] six times to switch to F06.
- Press [Setup key] to set the ambient temperature value. "Ctrl" starts blinking.
- Use [Add and Subtract buttons] to adjust. "Ctrl" takes the ambient temperature of the smart carbon monoxide alarm. "SLtH" is the ambient temperature of the heater switch.
- Press the [Settings Key] to confirm.
- Press the [power button] to return.
6.12 Carbon Monoxide (CO) Calibration (F07)
In power-on state:
- Long press the [Settings button] to enter F00.
- When at F00, press the [Increase key] seven times to switch to F07.
- Long press [Settings Key]. Wait for the "Adj" flashing to end.
- Calibration complete.
- Press the [power button] to return.
6.13 Firmware Upgrade
In shutdown state:
- Long press the [Increase button] and [Decrease button] at the same time.
- Continue holding until the Bluetooth code is displayed.
- Follow on-screen prompts or app instructions for firmware upgrade.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears to ensure continuous operation and accurate readings.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
- CO Sensor Care: Avoid exposing the CO sensor to harsh chemicals, high humidity, or extreme dust, as this may affect its accuracy and lifespan.
