- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body and lens. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution if necessary.
- After using the waterproof case in saltwater, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and let it air dry.
- Ensure the O-ring seal of the waterproof case is free from dirt, sand, or debris to maintain its watertight integrity.
5.2 Battery Care
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Avoid fully discharging batteries frequently to prolong their lifespan.
- If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to about 50-60%.
5.3 Storage
- Store the camera and accessories in a protective case to prevent scratches and damage.
- Keep away from extreme temperatures, high humidity, and strong magnetic fields.
6. Troubleshooting
- Camera not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged and correctly inserted. Try a different charged battery if available.
- Recording issues (freezing, corrupted files): Check if the memory card is properly inserted and not full. Try formatting the memory card (this will erase all data). Use a high-speed, reputable brand memory card.
- WiFi connection problems: Ensure WiFi is enabled on the camera and your smartphone. Try restarting both devices. Make sure you are within range of the camera's WiFi signal.
- Short battery life: Ensure batteries are fully charged. Operating in cold temperatures or using WiFi extensively can reduce battery life.

9. User Tips
- Optimal Video Quality: For the best video quality, especially in fast-paced action, ensure your memory card is a high-speed class (e.g., Class 10 or U3) to handle 4K recording efficiently.
- Battery Management: Carry spare charged batteries for extended shooting sessions, as action cameras can consume power quickly, especially with WiFi enabled.
- Waterproof Case Maintenance: Always double-check the waterproof case seal before submerging. A small amount of silicone grease on the O-ring can help maintain its flexibility and seal.
- Experiment with Mounts: Utilize the various included mounts to capture unique perspectives for your videos and photos.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the official Ourlife website or product page for any available firmware updates, which can improve performance and add new features.
