- Lock: Rotate the rotation sleeve counterclockwise to securely lock the drill bit in place.
3.4 Understanding the Drill Bit Set
The included 6-piece nail drill bit set offers various functions:
- 3 Metal Grinding Head Bits: For coarse grinding, shaping, and exfoliating.
- 3 Grinding Wheel Head Bits: For fine grinding of the hyponychium and nail edges.
4. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Ensure the main machine is charged or connected to power.
- Select Rotation Direction: Choose either 'F' (FORWARD) or 'R' (REVERSE) direction using the Forward/Reverse Switch on the main unit, depending on your preference and the task.
- Adjust Speed: Slide the speed control knob to adjust the rotation speed of the handpiece. The LCD screen will display the current speed (0-45,000 RPM). Start with a lower speed and gradually increase as needed.
- Begin Operation: Gently apply the rotating drill bit to the nail surface or area requiring treatment.
- Power Off: After use, turn the speed control knob to '0' and then power off the main machine.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, remove the drill bit and clean it thoroughly. Wipe down the handpiece and main unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or immerse the device in water.
- Storage: Store the nail drill machine and its accessories in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Use the pen holder to safely store the handpiece when not in use.
- Bit Replacement: Regularly inspect drill bits for wear and tear. Replace dull or damaged bits to ensure optimal performance and prevent damage to nails.
- Motor Protection: When using, avoid twisting the rotation sleeve in the middle of the handpiece while the motor is running, as this will immediately stop the motor and can reduce its lifespan. This action should be used as little as possible.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device Stops Operating: If the grinding machine stops operating, ensure the speed control dial is adjusted to "0". Then, restart the power supply to resume operation.
- Slight Burning Smell: A slight burning smell from the motor of the handpiece during initial use or heavy operation is normal. If the smell is strong or persistent, discontinue use and contact support.
- Reduced Performance: Check if the drill bit is securely installed and not worn out. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged.
7. User Tips
- Start Slow: Always begin with the lowest speed setting and gradually increase it to find the comfortable and effective speed for your task.
- Light Pressure: Apply light, consistent pressure. Excessive force can damage nails or the device.
- Practice: If you are new to using an electric nail drill, practice on artificial nails before working on natural nails.
- Hygiene: Always sanitize your drill bits before and after each use to prevent infections.
