3. Setup
3.1 Connecting to Vehicle
- Locate the vehicle's 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC). This is usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side.
- Connect the OBDII diagnostic cable to the NT650 Pro unit.
- Plug the other end of the OBDII diagnostic cable into the vehicle's DLC.
- Turn the vehicle's ignition to the 'ON' position (engine off). The NT650 Pro will power on automatically.

3.2 Language Settings
The NT650 Pro supports multiple languages. To change the language:
- From the main menu, navigate to 'Settings'.
- Select 'Language'.
- Choose your desired language from the list. Supported languages include Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Thai.

3.3 Wi-Fi Setup and Updates
The NT650 Pro offers lifetime free updates via Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for a separate PC connection. To update your device:
- From the main menu, navigate to 'Update'.
- Ensure the device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter Wi-Fi credentials if connecting for the first time.
- The device will check for available updates. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install any new software versions or vehicle data.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 ABS & SRS Diagnostic & Bidirectional Control Test
The NT650 Pro is capable of diagnosing Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) issues, as well as performing bidirectional control tests.
- ABS System Diagnostics: Begin by visually inspecting all brake components. Then, use the scanner to retrieve ABS codes, which will indicate the problem area. The tool can read ECU information, display live data, read/clear ABS system fault codes, and turn off the trouble indicator after repairs.
- SRS System Diagnostics: The SRS (safety restraint system) includes impact sensors, a control module, and airbags. This device can detect electronic parameters to check the health status of the SRS. It reads ECU information, live data, and can read/clear SRS system fault codes, turning off the trouble indicator once issues are resolved.
- Bi-directional Active Test: Beyond reading and erasing codes, the NT650 Pro allows for bi-directional control. This means you can command specific components to pinpoint faults, such as ABS manual control tests, ABS motor tests, and actuator tests. This feature enables temporary activation or control of components for more accurate problem identification.

4.2 26+ Maintenance Services
The NT650 Pro provides over 26 frequently used service and maintenance functions, all available for free. These functions are primarily designed for imported vehicles, and compatibility with national vehicles may be limited for some reset functions. Please consult the manufacturer for specific compatibility before purchase.
- Oil Service Reset: Resets service lamps on the instrument cluster, alerting the driver when vehicle service is due.
- EPB (Electronic Parking Brake): Performs service and maintenance of brake systems, including deactivation/activation of the brake control system, bleeding brake fluid, opening/closing brake pads, and setting brakes after replacement.
- BRT (Battery Replacement): Validates new batteries and clears faults from the dashboard display.
- DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration): Cleans the DPF by burning captured particulates, automatically turning off the DPF light upon completion.
- TBA/TPS (Throttle Body Alignment): Learns full open and closed positions of the throttle through various states.
- SAS (Steering Angle Sensor Calibration): Calibrates the Steering Angle Sensor.
