The Yieryi BLE-YL01 is a multifunctional water quality tester designed for swimming pools and hot springs. This device provides precise measurements for pH, chlorine residue, conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), salinity, and temperature. With its solar-powered design and Wi-Fi connectivity, it allows for remote monitoring and control via a smartphone application, ensuring optimal water quality for your pool or spa.
Important Notes
- Gateway Requirement: The product does not include a gateway. It needs to be paired with a Zigbee gateway to function properly. Please purchase a compatible Zigbee gateway separately.
- Charging Recommendations: It is not advisable to rely solely on solar charging when the product has no power. USB charging is recommended for initial power-up or when the battery is depleted. Solar charging is primarily designed to replenish power during use, preventing frequent manual charging. Relying only on solar charging will require a long time to fully charge the device.
- Water Immersion: The product is designed to float in water. It is recommended to avoid fully immersing the entire product in water during use, as the solar charging panel is not waterproof.

Setup Instructions
- Initial Charging: Before first use, it is recommended to charge the device via USB to ensure sufficient power. The device also features solar charging for continuous power replenishment during sunny days.
- Electrode Preparation: The electrode cover must be removed before use.
- Assembly:
- Remove the green housing.
- Carefully remove the electrode cover.
- Re-attach the green shell securely.
- App Installation: Download the ‘Smart Living’ app or the ‘Tuya’ app from your smartphone’s app store (compatible with Android and iOS systems).
- Wi-Fi Connection: Connect the monitor and your Zigbee gateway to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your mobile phone is also on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the pairing process.
- Placement: Place the floating tester in your pool or spa. Ensure the solar panel is exposed to sunlight for optimal charging.
Operating Instructions
1. Real-Time Monitoring
Once connected to the app, the tester will continuously monitor the water quality parameters. Open the ‘Smart Living’ or ‘Tuya’ app to view real-time data for pH, chlorine, ORP, salt, EC, TDS, and temperature.
2. Data Analysis and Export
The app allows you to view historical readings (monthly, weekly, or daily) to track trends in your pool's water quality. You can also export this data to Excel or email for further analysis and record-keeping.
3. Custom Alerts and Alarms
Set custom upper and lower limits for each measurement parameter (pH, chlorine, etc.) within the app. If any value exceeds these limits, you will receive real-time alerts, allowing you to quickly address any abnormal water quality issues. You can also create custom scenarios for notifications based on specific changes.
4. Multi-Device and Account Management
The app supports renaming devices and managing multiple accounts and devices, making it suitable for monitoring several pools or zones simultaneously. This feature allows for a comprehensive and efficient monitoring solution.
5. Standby Mode
When the phone exits the app, the device automatically enters standby mode to conserve power. It will resume normal measurement when the app is opened again.

Maintenance
- Calibration: Regular calibration of pH and ORP sensors is crucial for maintaining accuracy. Use the provided calibration solutions (PH4.00, PH7.00, PH10.01, ORP) according to the instructions in the app or detailed manual.
- Electrode Cleaning: Keep the electrodes clean to ensure accurate readings. Rinse them with distilled water after each use and follow specific cleaning instructions if contamination occurs.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, ensure the electrodes are properly stored in a suitable solution (e.g., KCL solution) to prevent drying out.
- Charging: Monitor the battery level via the app. Utilize solar charging during daylight hours and USB charging when necessary to maintain optimal battery life.
Troubleshooting
- Why is the Residual Chlorine Value 0?
For the residual chlorine value to be displayed normally, the pool pH value should be within 6.5-8 and the ORP value should be within 487-840mV. If either of these values falls outside the specified range, the residual chlorine value may not be displayed correctly. If the pH value is lower than 6.5, it indicates that the water quality is more acidic and may require disinfection. If the ORP value is above 850mV, it suggests that the disinfectant solution is too concentrated, requiring neutralization.

Ensure both the device and your mobile phone are connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The device does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
