3. Controls and Ports Overview

  • (M) Mode Button: Press to switch between playback modes (Wireless, FM Radio, TF Card, USB Disk, AUX).
  • Power / Play / Pause Button: Long press to power on/off. Short press to play or pause music.
  • Volume Up (+) / Next Track: Short press for next track. Press and hold to increase volume.
  • Volume Down (-) / Previous Track: Short press for previous track. Press and hold to decrease volume.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the Micro USB end of the charging cable to the speaker's Micro USB charging port.
  2. Connect the USB-A end of the charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off.
  4. Allow approximately 2-3 hours for a full charge.

4.2 Wireless Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
  2. Long press the Power button to turn on the speaker. It will enter wireless pairing mode automatically, indicated by a flashing LED light.
  3. On your device (phone, tablet, etc.), enable Wireless (Bluetooth) and search for available devices.
  4. Select "TG116C" from the list of devices.
  5. Once connected, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone, and the LED light will stop flashing.

4.3 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing

To achieve 3D stereo sound, you can pair two TG116C speakers together:

  1. Turn on both TG116C speakers. Ensure they are not connected to any other device.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), long press the 'M' (Mode) button until you hear a pairing tone.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  4. Now, connect your device (phone, etc.) to the primary speaker via Wireless as described in section 4.2.
  5. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo, with one acting as the left channel and the other as the right.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Playback

  1. Power On/Off: Long press the Power button.
  2. Play/Pause: Short press the Power button.
  3. Volume Control: Press and hold the '+' button to increase volume. Press and hold the '-' button to decrease volume.
  4. Next/Previous Track: Short press the '+' button for the next track. Short press the '-' button for the previous track.

5.2 Switching Playback Modes

Press the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through the available playback modes: Wireless, FM Radio, TF Card, USB Disk, and AUX Line-In.

5.3 FM Radio Mode

  1. Switch to FM Radio mode using the 'M' button.
  2. The speaker will automatically scan and save available radio stations.
  3. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to navigate between saved stations.

5.4 Using TF Card / USB Disk / AUX Line-In

  1. Insert a TF card into the TF card slot or a USB flash drive into the USB port. The speaker will automatically switch to the corresponding mode and begin playback.
  2. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX port using a 3.5mm audio cable. Switch to AUX mode using the 'M' button.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the speaker away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and corrosive liquids.
  • Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure all port covers are securely closed when using the speaker in wet environments to maintain its IPX4 water resistance.
  • If not in use for an extended period, charge the speaker at least once every three months to preserve battery life.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Solution
Speaker does not turn on.Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
No sound or low volume.Check the volume level on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the correct playback mode is selected.
Unable to pair via Wireless.Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing LED). Turn off Wireless on your device and turn it back on. Move the speaker closer to your device. Disconnect from other Wireless devices.
TWS pairing failed.Ensure both speakers are turned on and not connected to any other device. Try repeating the TWS pairing steps.
FM Radio reception is poor.Move the speaker to an open area. The charging cable can sometimes act as an antenna; try connecting it.
