1. Introduction

The dual power automatic transfer switch (ATS) is a miniature household power switch designed to ensure continuous power supply. It automatically switches from the main power source to a standby power source when the main supply is abnormal, ensuring reliability and safety. This product is specifically designed for household DIN rail installation and is compatible with PZ30 distribution boxes.

The ATS is suitable for emergency power supply systems operating at 50 or 60Hz with a rated voltage of 230VAC (L+N). It features a solid structure, reliable conversion, convenient installation and maintenance, and a long service life. It is widely used in applications where uninterrupted power is critical and can be operated both electrically and manually. The ATS is composed of a Transfer Switching Equipment (TSE) and a controller.

According to IEC60947-6-1, Part 6-1, which covers multifunctional equipment and switchgear, the ATS is a qualified low-voltage switchgear and control device.

For optimal performance, periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and inspect for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure the installation environment remains within the specified temperature and humidity ranges.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Device Offline / Cannot Control

If the device shows offline in the eWeLink app after successful addition, or if you cannot control it:

  1. **Wait 1-2 minutes**: After adding, the device needs time to connect to your router and the internet.
  2. **Check WiFi Indicator Status**:
    • **Blue light flashes quickly once per second**: Device is not connected to your WiFi.
      • Verify the WiFi password entered during pairing is correct.
      • Ensure the device is within range of your router. Move it closer if the signal is weak or there's interference. If no improvement, power cycle the device and try re-adding.
      • Confirm you are using a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The device does not support 5GHz WiFi.
      • Check your router settings for MAC address filtering and disable it if active.
      • If all else fails, try using a mobile hotspot from another phone to re-add the device.
    • **Blue light flashes twice quickly per second**: Device is connected to WiFi but not to the external network.
      • Check if your internet connection is stable and normal. Frequent double flashes indicate an unstable network, not a product issue. If your network is normal, power cycle the device.

8.2 Factory Reset

To restore the device to factory settings (e.g., when changing WiFi networks):

  1. Long press the configuration button for 5 seconds.
  2. Release the button when the WiFi indicator light flashes two short times and one long time.
  3. The device is now reset and will re-enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

9. User Tips

  • **Pole Switching**: The 2P designation indicates that this transfer switch is designed to switch both the phase (live) and neutral lines, providing complete isolation between power sources.
  • **Compatibility with Inverters**: This ATS is compatible with various power sources, including city power and generators. If your solar energy inverter provides a stable AC output within the rated voltage and frequency, it can typically be used as a backup power source. Always ensure the inverter's output matches the ATS specifications.
  • **Maximum Load**: The device has a rated working current of 125A. To determine the maximum power load, use the formula P = V * I (Power = Voltage * Current). For a 230V system, 125A allows for a maximum power of 230V * 125A = 28,750W (28.75kW). Therefore, connecting a 3kW heater is well within the device's capacity.

10. Warranty & Support
