1. Introduction
The dual power automatic transfer switch (ATS) is a miniature household power switch designed to ensure continuous power supply. It automatically switches from the main power source to a standby power source when the main supply is abnormal, ensuring reliability and safety. This product is specifically designed for household DIN rail installation and is compatible with PZ30 distribution boxes.
The ATS is suitable for emergency power supply systems operating at 50 or 60Hz with a rated voltage of 230VAC (L+N). It features a solid structure, reliable conversion, convenient installation and maintenance, and a long service life. It is widely used in applications where uninterrupted power is critical and can be operated both electrically and manually. The ATS is composed of a Transfer Switching Equipment (TSE) and a controller.
According to IEC60947-6-1, Part 6-1, which covers multifunctional equipment and switchgear, the ATS is a qualified low-voltage switchgear and control device.

4.2 Wiring Diagram
Refer to the following diagrams for correct wiring connections. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

5. Initial Setup & App Pairing
Before pairing, ensure the following:
- Your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network (5GHz networks are not supported).
- Your phone's operating system is Android 5.0 or higher, or iOS 10.0 or higher.
- Your phone can access the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) to download the eWeLink app.
- If your router has MAC address filtering enabled, temporarily disable it in your router settings.
5.1 Download the eWeLink App
Search for "eWeLink" in your device's app store and download it. Create an account or log in if you already have one.
5.2 Quick Pairing Mode (Bluetooth)
- Connect your phone to a 2.4GHz WiFi network and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Long press the pairing button on the ATS device for more than 5 seconds. The indicator light will flash quickly twice, then stay on once, indicating it has entered pairing mode.
- Open the eWeLink app, tap the '+' icon at the bottom of the screen, and select "Bluetooth Pairing".
- Tap "Next". The app will automatically scan for nearby devices.
- Once the device is found (e.g., "Device37917a"), select it and tap "Next".
- You can then rename the device. Tap "Done" to complete the pairing process.

5.3 Compatible Pairing Mode (AP)
If quick pairing fails, try the Compatible Pairing Mode:
- Long press the pairing button for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes two short times and one long time, then release.
- Immediately long press the pairing button again for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes quickly. The device is now in Compatible Mode.
- In the eWeLink app, tap the '+' icon and select "Compatible Mode".
- Connect your mobile device's WiFi to the network named "ITEAD" (password: 12345678).
- Return to the eWeLink app, tap "Next", and wait for the pairing to complete.

6. Operation
6.1 Manual and Automatic Modes
The ATS switch supports both manual and automatic operation. You can conveniently switch between these modes remotely via the eWeLink app or using the physical switch on the device.

6.2 Automatic Switching
The device realizes uninterruptible power supply switching with a rapid conversion time of less than 8ms after a power failure, ensuring minimal disruption.

6.3 eWeLink App Control
The eWeLink app provides comprehensive control and scheduling features:
- **Remote ON/OFF**: Turn connected devices on or off from anywhere.
- **Countdown Mode**: Set a countdown timer for automatic power off.
- **Timed Mode**: Schedule specific ON/OFF times for your devices.
- **Recurring Timer Mode (Loop Timer)**: Set repeating schedules for daily or weekly automation.
- **Power Failure Memory Mode**: Configure the device's state after a power recovery (ON, OFF, or last state).

6.4 Voice Control
The device supports voice control through popular smart home platforms like Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Simply link your eWeLink account to these services and use voice commands to control your ATS.

7. Maintenance
The ATS is designed for long-term, reliable operation with minimal maintenance. Key features contributing to its durability include:
- **Integrated Design**: Small volume and light weight for easy integration.
- **Industrial Silver Contact**: Utilizes silver contacts to improve product lifespan and ensure stable connections.
- **Passive Signal Output**: Can be connected to signal lights for easy observation outside the cabinet.
- **Rail Mounted Installation**: Fixed buckle design for easy and secure installation.

For optimal performance, periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and inspect for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure the installation environment remains within the specified temperature and humidity ranges.
8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Device Offline / Cannot Control
If the device shows offline in the eWeLink app after successful addition, or if you cannot control it:
- **Wait 1-2 minutes**: After adding, the device needs time to connect to your router and the internet.
- **Check WiFi Indicator Status**:
- **Blue light flashes quickly once per second**: Device is not connected to your WiFi.
- Verify the WiFi password entered during pairing is correct.
- Ensure the device is within range of your router. Move it closer if the signal is weak or there's interference. If no improvement, power cycle the device and try re-adding.
- Confirm you are using a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The device does not support 5GHz WiFi.
- Check your router settings for MAC address filtering and disable it if active.
- If all else fails, try using a mobile hotspot from another phone to re-add the device.
- **Blue light flashes twice quickly per second**: Device is connected to WiFi but not to the external network.
- Check if your internet connection is stable and normal. Frequent double flashes indicate an unstable network, not a product issue. If your network is normal, power cycle the device.
8.2 Factory Reset
To restore the device to factory settings (e.g., when changing WiFi networks):
- Long press the configuration button for 5 seconds.
- Release the button when the WiFi indicator light flashes two short times and one long time.
- The device is now reset and will re-enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

9. User Tips
- **Pole Switching**: The 2P designation indicates that this transfer switch is designed to switch both the phase (live) and neutral lines, providing complete isolation between power sources.
- **Compatibility with Inverters**: This ATS is compatible with various power sources, including city power and generators. If your solar energy inverter provides a stable AC output within the rated voltage and frequency, it can typically be used as a backup power source. Always ensure the inverter's output matches the ATS specifications.
- **Maximum Load**: The device has a rated working current of 125A. To determine the maximum power load, use the formula P = V * I (Power = Voltage * Current). For a 230V system, 125A allows for a maximum power of 230V * 125A = 28,750W (28.75kW). Therefore, connecting a 3kW heater is well within the device's capacity.
