Introduction
The UGREEN Smart Bluetooth Tracker is designed to help you locate your valuable items using Apple's Find My network. This device is compatible exclusively with iOS devices (iOS 14.5/iPadOS 14.5 or later/macOS 12.5 or later) and offers features like ultra-loud alarms, left-behind alerts, and location sharing. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup and usage.
Setup
Pairing the Device
- Open the 'Find My' app on your Apple device.
- Press and hold the power button on the UGREEN Smart Bluetooth Tracker for 2 seconds to turn on the device. The product will play a melody.
- In the 'Find My' app, select 'Items' > 'Add Items' > 'Other supported items'.
- Follow the on-screen steps to connect your Smart Bluetooth Tracker. You will be prompted to name the item and choose an emoji to represent it.

Operating Instructions
Finding Your Items
To locate a misplaced item, open the 'Find My' app on your Apple device, select the UGREEN Smart Bluetooth Tracker associated with the item, and tap 'Play Sound'. The tracker will emit an ultra-loud alarm to help you pinpoint its location.

Left-Behind Alerts
The tracker features a left-behind alarm that triggers if you accidentally walk away from your item, notifying you on your paired Apple device. This helps prevent loss by alerting you when your item is no longer detected nearby.

Sharing Item Locations
You can share the location of your tracked items with friends and family. To do this, navigate to the 'Items' page in the 'Find My' app, select the item, and click 'Add Person' (or 'Add Contact'). Search for the name or mobile number of the person you wish to share with and follow the on-screen instructions. Note: To use this function, ensure your device's operating system is updated to iOS 17 or later.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The UGREEN Smart Bluetooth Tracker uses a replaceable CR2032 button battery, offering up to 24 months of operating time. To replace the battery:
- Insert a card ejector tool (or a similar thin, pointed object) into the small hole on the side of the tracker.
- Gently pry open the case by hand.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity.
- Align the two halves of the case and gently press until it closes securely.

Troubleshooting
Cannot Pair the Device
If you are unable to pair your UGREEN Smart Bluetooth Tracker with your Apple device:
- Press the power button 5 times within 5 seconds until you hear three beeps.
- Then, press and hold the power button for 6 seconds within 10 seconds after hearing two beeps. This will restore the device to factory settings, allowing you to attempt pairing again.

Understanding Notification Sounds
- If you hear a melody after turning on the SmartTag, it indicates that the product is not currently paired with any device.
- If you hear four beeps after turning on the SmartTag, it means that the product is successfully paired.
