5. Setup
5.1 Assembly
The FX9635 RC Plane is designed for easy assembly, making it suitable for beginners. Follow these general steps:
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Attach the wings and tail fins to the main body of the aircraft as indicated in the diagrams. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Install the landing gear if desired.

5.2 Remote Controller Setup
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment.
5.3 Aircraft Power and Binding
- Ensure the aircraft's flight battery is fully charged (see Section 6).
- Connect the flight battery to the aircraft's power port.
- Place the aircraft on a flat surface.
- Turn on the remote controller. The aircraft and controller should automatically bind. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section.

6. Charging the Flight Battery
The FX9635 RC Plane uses a Lithium Battery. Follow these instructions for safe and stable charging:
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the aircraft's flight battery.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a power source such as a power bank, computer USB port, or a mobile phone charger.
- The charging time is approximately 30-40 minutes.
- Do NOT use fast charging adapters, as this can damage the battery.
- The indicator light on the charging cable will automatically turn off when charging is complete.

7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Takeoff Modes
The FX9635 offers two takeoff methods:
7.1.1 Horizontal Plane Takeoff
- Place the aircraft on the ground, windward. Confirm the presence or absence of each ruddergyrus, rudder direction is correct.
- Verify that no problem exists after the above steps. Push the throttle stick gradually to 100%, and pull the aileron/rudder rocker down. The aircraft will take off from the ground.

7.1.2 Hand-Throw Takeoff
Push the throttle stick forward. The propeller rotates at high speed. Align with the wind direction and tilt slightly horizontally to throw the aircraft upward. After reaching a certain height, control the joystick to control its flight attitude.

7.2 Flight Control Modes
The FX9635 features a three-level mode switching system for varied flying experiences:
- 6G-A Mode (Small Angle Climb): Suitable for windy conditions and large open fields. This mode provides stable flight with limited maneuverability, ideal for beginners.
- 6G-B Mode (Large Angle Climb): Allows for climbing at a larger angle and performing some simple actions. Offers more control than 6G-A while maintaining stability.
- 3D Mode (Stunt Flying): Unlocks full acrobatic capabilities, including 360° rolling and other advanced stunts. Recommended for experienced pilots.

7.3 Performing Stunts
With its built-in flight gyro self-stabilization system and powerful brushless motor, the FX9635 makes aerial stunts easy to implement. In 3D mode, you can perform various acrobatic flights, including 360° rolling.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the aircraft gently with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the aircraft and remote controller in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries from the remote controller if storing for extended periods.
- Battery Care: For long-term storage, charge the flight battery to approximately 50% capacity. Do not store fully charged or fully depleted batteries.
- Propeller Inspection: Regularly check the propeller for any damage or cracks. Replace damaged propellers immediately to ensure safe flight.
- EPP Foam Repair: The EPP foam material is resistant to drops and impacts, but in case of minor damage, specialized foam glue can be used for repairs.
9. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Aircraft does not respond to controller | Low battery in aircraft or controller; Not properly bound; Out of range | Charge aircraft battery, replace controller batteries; Re-bind aircraft and controller; Fly within 200M range. |
| Aircraft flies erratically or not straight | Trim settings incorrect; Damaged propeller; Strong wind conditions | Adjust trim on controller; Replace propeller; Fly in calmer conditions. |
| Short flight time | Battery not fully charged; Old/worn battery | Ensure full charge; Consider replacing battery if performance degrades significantly. |
| Propeller not spinning | Obstruction; Motor issue; Disconnected wire | Check for obstructions; Inspect motor and wiring (if comfortable, otherwise seek professional help). |
10. User Tips
- For optimal performance and stability, especially for beginners, start flying in 6G-A mode in a large, open area with minimal wind.
- Practice basic controls and gentle maneuvers before attempting advanced stunts in 3D mode.
- Always keep an eye on the aircraft's battery level and land safely before it runs out of power to prevent unexpected crashes.
