3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Real-time Monitoring
Once connected, you can view the current temperature and humidity readings directly from the eWeLink app on your smartphone or tablet, anytime and anywhere.

3.2 Historical Data Storage
The sensor stores up to 30 days of historical temperature and humidity data. This data can be viewed as a graph within the app and can also be exported via email for further analysis.

3.3 Temperature Unit Switch
You can easily switch the temperature display unit between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) within the eWeLink app settings.

3.4 Voice Control
Control and inquire about your environment using voice commands through Amazon Alexa or Google Home Assistant. Examples:
- "Alexa, what is the temperature in the room?"
- "Google, what is the humidity in the living room?"

3.5 Family Sharing Control
Share control of the sensor with family members via the Smart Life app, allowing multiple users to monitor and manage the device.

3.6 Alarm Management
Set custom upper and lower limits for both temperature (-10℃ to 60℃) and humidity (0%-100% RH) within the app. You will receive notifications if the readings fall outside these set ranges, providing peace of mind.

3.7 Offline Notification
Receive notifications if the sensor goes offline, ensuring you are always aware of its operational status, even when you are not at home.

3.8 Intelligent Linkage
Create smart scenes and automations. For example, you can set a condition where if the indoor temperature reaches a certain threshold (e.g., 30°C), a connected smart air conditioner (requires a separate WiFi IR Remote) automatically turns on.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
The sensor is powered by 2x AAA batteries. The app will provide a low battery notification when replacement is needed. To replace, open the battery compartment, remove old batteries, and insert new ones, observing polarity.

4.2 Cleaning
Wipe the sensor gently with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as this may damage the device or affect its accuracy.
4.3 Sensitivity Adjustment
You can manually set the temperature/humidity report cycle and adjust its sensitivity within the app. This helps in obtaining the most accurate detection values for your specific environment.

5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Sensor is offline | Low batteries, Zigbee hub disconnected, sensor out of range. | Check battery level and replace if necessary. Ensure Zigbee hub is powered and connected to the internet. Move sensor closer to the hub. |
| Inaccurate readings | Sensor placed in an unsuitable location (e.g., direct sunlight, near heat source), sensitivity settings. | Relocate the sensor to a more stable environment. Adjust sensitivity settings in the app. |
| Voice control not working | eWeLink/Smart Life account not linked to Alexa/Google Home, incorrect device name. | Verify that your eWeLink/Smart Life account is correctly linked in the Alexa/Google Home app. Ensure the device name is recognizable by the voice assistant. |
| No historical data | Sensor was offline or disconnected during the period. | Ensure the sensor maintains a stable connection to the Zigbee hub. |
