1. Product Overview

The LS TH01 EWelink Smart Zigbee Temperature and Humidity Sensor is designed to monitor indoor environmental conditions in real-time. This compact device integrates seamlessly into your smart home ecosystem, providing accurate temperature and humidity readings, historical data, and smart automation capabilities. It requires a Zigbee hub for operation and is compatible with popular voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Home Assistant.

2. Setup Guide

2.1 What's in the Box

  • EWelink Smart Zigbee Temperature and Humidity Sensor (TH01)
  • User Manual (this document)

Note: 2x AAA batteries and a Zigbee hub are NOT included and are required for operation.

2.2 Requirements

  • A compatible Zigbee hub (e.g., Tuya Zigbee hub).
  • 2x AAA batteries.
  • eWeLink app installed on your smartphone or tablet.
  • An active internet connection.

2.3 Installation Steps

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the sensor and insert 2x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  2. Power On: The sensor will automatically power on once batteries are inserted.
  3. Add Device to Zigbee Hub:
    a. Ensure your Zigbee hub is powered on and connected to your network.
    b. Open the eWeLink app (or Smart Life app if you prefer for certain features like family sharing).
    c. Follow the app's instructions to add a new Zigbee device. This usually involves putting the hub into pairing mode and then activating the sensor's pairing mode (often by pressing a reset button for a few seconds).
    d. Once detected, name your sensor and assign it to a room.
  4. Integrate with Voice Assistants (Optional):
    a. If you wish to use Alexa or Google Home, ensure your eWeLink account is linked to your Amazon Alexa or Google Home app.
    b. Discover new devices in your Alexa or Google Home app.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Real-time Monitoring

Once connected, you can view the current temperature and humidity readings directly from the eWeLink app on your smartphone or tablet, anytime and anywhere.

3.2 Historical Data Storage

The sensor stores up to 30 days of historical temperature and humidity data. This data can be viewed as a graph within the app and can also be exported via email for further analysis.

3.3 Temperature Unit Switch

You can easily switch the temperature display unit between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) within the eWeLink app settings.

3.4 Voice Control

Control and inquire about your environment using voice commands through Amazon Alexa or Google Home Assistant. Examples:

  • "Google, what is the humidity in the living room?"

3.5 Family Sharing Control

Share control of the sensor with family members via the Smart Life app, allowing multiple users to monitor and manage the device.

3.6 Alarm Management

Set custom upper and lower limits for both temperature (-10℃ to 60℃) and humidity (0%-100% RH) within the app. You will receive notifications if the readings fall outside these set ranges, providing peace of mind.

3.7 Offline Notification

Receive notifications if the sensor goes offline, ensuring you are always aware of its operational status, even when you are not at home.

3.8 Intelligent Linkage

Create smart scenes and automations. For example, you can set a condition where if the indoor temperature reaches a certain threshold (e.g., 30°C), a connected smart air conditioner (requires a separate WiFi IR Remote) automatically turns on.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Replacement

The sensor is powered by 2x AAA batteries. The app will provide a low battery notification when replacement is needed. To replace, open the battery compartment, remove old batteries, and insert new ones, observing polarity.

4.2 Cleaning

Wipe the sensor gently with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as this may damage the device or affect its accuracy.
