1. Introduction
The HIROYASU HI-B8 PoC Walkie Talkie Earphone Surveillance Kit is designed for discreet and comfortable communication, ideal for professional environments requiring clear audio and covert operation. It features a transparent acoustic tube, an in-line microphone, and a Push-To-Talk (PTT) button with a lapel clip for easy access.
2. Package Contents
- 1 × HIROYASU HI-B8 Earpiece with Transparent Acoustic Tube

3. Setup
- Connect the Earpiece: Locate the 3.5mm audio jack on your PoC walkie-talkie. Insert the 3.5mm plug of the HIROYASU HI-B8 earpiece firmly into the walkie-talkie's audio jack. Ensure the plug is fully seated to establish a secure connection.
- Position the Earpiece: Place the rubber earbud comfortably into your ear. The transparent acoustic tube should extend from the earbud, coiling discreetly.
- Secure the PTT Unit: Use the integrated lapel clip on the PTT (Push-To-Talk) unit to attach it to your collar, lapel, or any convenient location on your clothing. This allows for easy and quick access to the PTT button for communication.

4. Operating Instructions
- Receiving Audio: Once connected, audio from your walkie-talkie will be transmitted directly to the earbud through the transparent acoustic tube.
- Transmitting Audio (PTT): To speak, press and hold the PTT button on the in-line unit. Speak clearly into the in-line microphone. Release the PTT button when you have finished speaking to return to receive mode.
- Microphone Usage: The in-line microphone is designed to pick up your voice clearly. Ensure it is not obstructed by clothing or other objects during transmission.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Earbud and Acoustic Tube: Regularly clean the rubber earbud and the transparent acoustic tube with a mild disinfectant wipe or a damp cloth. Ensure they are completely dry before reuse.
- Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cables to prevent internal damage. Store the earpiece neatly coiled when not in use.
- Storage: Store the earpiece in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Audio: Ensure the 3.5mm plug is fully inserted into the walkie-talkie's audio jack. Check the walkie-talkie's volume settings.
- Unclear Audio: Verify that the earbud is properly seated in your ear and the acoustic tube is not kinked or obstructed.
- PTT Not Working: Confirm the earpiece is securely connected. Test the walkie-talkie with another earpiece or its built-in microphone/speaker to isolate the issue.
- Intermittent Connection: Check the 3.5mm plug for any debris or damage. Ensure the connection is firm.
