6. Setup
6.1. Charging the Battery
- If your package includes a battery and charger, connect the charger to a power outlet.
- Insert the battery into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
- Charge the battery fully before first use. A full charge typically takes several hours.
6.2. Installing the Battery
- Ensure the pruning shears are switched off.
- Align the fully charged battery with the battery slot at the base of the pruning shears.
- Slide the battery firmly into place until it clicks, indicating it is securely locked.

- To power on, press and hold the power button located on the battery base until the LED digital display illuminates.

7.2. Adjusting Blade Opening (4 Gears)
The pruning shears feature 4 adjustable blade opening gears to suit different branch sizes:
- With the tool powered on, briefly press the switch key on the control board to cycle through the blade opening settings.
- The LED digital display will show the current gear and corresponding maximum opening (20mm, 29mm, 36mm, 45mm).
- Select the appropriate gear for the branch thickness you intend to cut.

7.3. Pruning
- Ensure the selected blade opening is suitable for the branch. Do not force the blades on branches exceeding the maximum shear capacity (30mm).
- Position the branch firmly between the open blades.
- Press the trigger to close the blades and make the cut. Release the trigger to open the blades.
- For optimal performance and safety, make clean cuts and avoid twisting the tool during operation.
