Setup
1. Physical Installation
The camera is designed for flexible installation indoors or outdoors. Follow these steps to mount the camera:
- Hold down the camera body firmly.
- Gently loosen the base by rotating it counter-clockwise.
- Continue to loosen the base until it can be separated from the camera body.
- Take off the base.
- Position the base at the desired mounting location and secure it using screws.
- Reattach the camera body to the fixed base by aligning and tightening it clockwise.
- Ensure the camera is securely mounted and the cable is routed appropriately.
2. Connecting the Camera
- Locate an available USB port on your computer or compatible device.
- Plug the camera's USB cable into the USB port. The camera is plug-and-play and typically does not require additional drivers for supported operating systems.
- For mobile phones or tablets, ensure your device supports USB2.0 OTG Protocol and use an appropriate OTG cable if necessary.
Operating Instructions
- Once connected, open your preferred camera software or application on your computer/device.
- Select the ELP USB Dome Camera as the video input source within the software settings.
- The camera will automatically adjust between day and night vision modes using its Smart IR feature.
- Adjust any desired image parameters (Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Hue, Sharpness, Gamma, White balance, Backlight Contrast, Exposure) through your camera software if supported.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the camera. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
