3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case
Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and charging case.
- Place the earbuds into the charging case.
- Connect the Type-C data cable to the charging port on the case and a power source.
- The LED breathing lights on the charging case will indicate charging status. A full charge for the case takes approximately 1.5 hours.
The charging case provides about 3 full charges for the earbuds, offering a comprehensive battery life of up to 24 hours.

3.2 Wearing the Earbuds
The earbuds feature an ergonomic semi-in-ear design for comfort and stability.
- Identify the left (L) and right (R) earbuds.
- Gently insert each earbud into the corresponding ear canal.
- Adjust for a snug and comfortable fit to ensure optimal sound quality and prevent slipping.

3.3 Bluetooth Pairing
The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.4 for stable and low-latency connection.
- Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
- Search for "HY-Y18" in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
- Select "HY-Y18" to connect. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
The Bluetooth connection distance is up to 10 meters.

4. Operating Instructions
The HY-Y18 earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on both the left and right earbuds.

4.1 Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Double click either the left or right earbud.
- Previous Song: Triple tap the left earbud.
- Next Song: Triple tap the right earbud.
- Volume Down: Click the left earbud.
- Volume Up: Click the right earbud.
4.2 Call Management
- Answer/Hang Up: Double click either the left or right earbud.
- Reject Call: Long press either earbud for 2 seconds.
4.3 Voice Assistant
- Wake Up Voice Assistant: Long press the left earbud for 2 seconds.
